Chapter 275
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Without turning her head, she mocked, âThis is all you can do? Threaten me?â
ALL of a sudden, Carlos grabbed her hand, pulling her into his arms.
âThe process does not matter to me at all. As long as I can bring you back, I donât care what means Iâm
using.â
âLet me go!â Debbie yelled.
âWhy are you always taking advantage of me?
I hate you!â
âItâs freezing outside. Let me warm you up,â Carlos replied softly.
Upon hearing this, Emmett rolled his eyes from the driverâs seat.
âCarlos, we have a heater in the car, â he retorted in his mind.
Debbie struggled, but failed to free herself from Carlosâ embrace.
âThank you, Carlos, but I donât need to be warmed up. Iâm not feeling cold at all.â
âBut Iâm freezing,â Carlos responded mischievously.
âPlease warm me up.â
Both Debbie and Emmett were stunned by Carlosâ shameless behavior.
âWhat is wrong with him? Is he the same aloof Mr. President?â they both mused.
Unable to move in his arms, Debbie gritted her teeth and told the driver, âEmmett, turn the temperature
up. Your boss is freezing!â
Emmett was a smart man, so despite the girlâs boldness, he knew who the real boss was. He replied in
a serious voice, âDebbie, Iâve turned the heat up to maximum temperature. Maybe it doesnât work
because of the freezing temperature outside. Why not warm Carlos up?â
Debbie stared at the back of the driverâs head in stunned disbelief and anger. She wished she could
beat him up right this moment.
âWhat an ungrateful man! I made so many sacrifices in order to help him leave the construction site, â
she cursed inwardly, âbut now he is taking Carlosâ side!â
Carlos gently turned her head, forcing her to look at him.
âI wonât allow you to be angry like this,â he said in a soft voice.
It made Carlosâ heart ache to see Debbie angry and upset like this.
When Debbie heard what Carlos said, she sneered.
âHaha! Donât tell me how to feel! Are you a control freak or something? Sorry, not today.â
âAnd youâre as impossible as ever!â Carlos commented. He didnât Like to be disobeyed.
