Chapter 428
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âUh-huh.â âI can drink this in one gulp, â she thought. âBut I shouldnât be that rude in front of him.â
Carlos took a sip of his wine and gently pulled her into a deep kiss.
Debbie felt warm Liquid flowing into her mouth and she swallowed it subconsciously.
âWant more?â Carlos whispered in her ear, Like a demon driving her to sin.
âI have plenty to give.â
Debbie shook her head immediately.
âBehave yourself, old man,â she snapped. Who could guess that the aloof Carlos could act that way in
front of his wife?
Carlos pulled Debbie into his arms and began to accuse her.
âMaybe you should behave yourself.â Seeing her puzzled expression, he continued,
âHow about the village headâs son? Hayden? Gregory?â
âHuh?â Debbie raised her head, only to see the displeasure in his eyes.
Carlos lowered his head and whispered in her ear, âYouâre a siren, arenât you? Did you flirt with those
guys? Remember, youâre my wife.
Iâm the only one who can bang you.â
Debbie was stunned. âA siren? Flirt? And heâs the only one who canâ¦â
âYou married me just toâ¦erâ¦bang me?â she asked angrily.
âThatâs not the point!â he corrected her and kissed the corner of her mouth,
âWhoa, whoa, whoa. Back up,â she said, blinking her eyes. She knew
Hayden wanted her back. But the village headâs son? And Gregory? What was he talking about?
Carlos pressed her against the liquor cabinet, raised one brow and said, âIâm a guy, see? I know how
they think. Keep Gregory at armâs length. Getting the hots for my girl? Next time I see Colleen, Iâ1l tell
her to bitch at her brother for me.â
âGregory has a thing for me?â Debbie couldnât believe her ears.
âYou got it wrong. Weâre in the same class, thatâs all. I think youâre way off base here!â
Debbie retorted. That would just be too much. Colleen and Gregory would think she and Carlos were
both nuts. And that could ruin their friendship.
âAnd youâre naive,â Carlos sneered.
âNaive?â Debbie was enraged. She disentangled herself from his arms.
âWell, now that weâre getting things off our chestsâ¦â She took a step back and stared up at him
defiantly, arms crossed.
