Chapter 5
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âWho is it?â she asked back with a deadpan expression.
âThat man is the man of womenâs dreams. Heâs the famous CEO of a multinational group in Alorith!
Heâs Mr. Hilton!â
âOh⦠Iâve never heard of him.â Debbie picked up a bottle of water and took a sip leisurely.
âHis name is Carlos Hilton!â Kasie stressed, hoping she would get the same enthusiasm. Carlos was a
legendary figure she could not afford to offend.
Upon hearing the name, Debbie spat the water out. Kasie got splashed with water on the face. With a
helpless Look on her face, she stared at
Debbie, who, for some reason, was panic-stricken.
âWhat? Are you saying that beer-bellied drunkard is Carlos Hilton?!â
Debbie asked with eyes wide open in shock.
Kasie rolled her eyes and patted Debbieâs head.
âNot that one, you dummy. Iâm talking about the man you kissed!â
âWait, what?! You kissed Mr. Hilton? Youâre quite a troublemaker, arenât you, Debbie?â Jared remarked
with a chuckle. He was the first to react. He was so surprised with what he had just heard that he
stepped on the gas hard.
His father was the general manager of a financial company in Alorith.
He had known about Carlos for years.
When Kristina heard Carlosâs name and recalled who he was, she exclaimed, âOh, my gosh! Debbie,
you just kissed Mr. Hilton! Come here.
Let me kiss you to feel his Lips and smell his scent!â
As soon as she said those words, she threw herself at Debbie.
âStop it.â Debbie pushed Kristina away in annoyance and wiped the water off Kasieâs face with a tissue.
She was so dumbfounded by what she had just Learned that she even forgot to apologize to Kasie.
âCarlos rarely appears in media. How do you know itâs him?â she asked in a serious tone.
âHe cooperated with my father, and I met him once,â Kasie replied impatiently.
âAre you sure itâs him?â Debbie queried.
The truth was, she was on the verge of breaking down.
âIâm a hundred percent sure!â
Although kissing Carlos was a great honor, Kasie never expected Debbie, who had never flirted with
men, to be so excited.
A sinking feeling emerged in Debbieâs heart. She was doomed.
Noticing that Debbie was in a daze, Kasie patted her friendâs hand comfortingly.
