Burning Passion: Love Never Die
With dark eyes, Carlos asked, âGo out? Is Hayden still around?â
Debbie got a headache thanks to Carlosâ words. âI thought he forgot about Hayden. Turns out I was
wrong.â âI donât know whether heâs still here or not. It has nothing to do with me. Iâm not going out to
see him. Let me guess, you donât want me to go out, do you? You want to ground me?â
With a snort, Carlos released her and warned, âI donât want to find out that you pulled something like

kissed him repeatedly on both his cheeks.
âI Love you so much, honey.â
His heart softened, but he managed to maintain a poker face.
âDonât try to fool me. I will always remember what you did behind my back.â
âWhy does he sound Like I cheated on him?â Debbie cursed in her mind.
âWhat a petty man!â she grumbled, pouting her lips.
âPetty?â he repeated.
âNo, no, no! You misheard me. Youâre so handsome that I- Aargh! Donât bite me. I was wrong. My
husband is the most wonderful man in the world!â
Deep inside, she began to curse, âCarlos! I swear Iâll make you stand barefoot on a porcupine.â
