Chapter 6
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Chapter: 7
âThank you, ladies!â
Debbie, Kristina, and Kasie all walked over to the store and whispered with one another. When the
saleswoman saw the box of lipsticks in
Debbieâs hand, she smiled at her and said, âHello, Miss. That lipstick is popular here. If you want it,
take it. Youâre Lucky we still have one left for you.â
Debbie took a look at the price tag. The lipstick cost $129, 999.
âShould I buy this or not?â she asked herself.
âDebbie, have you forgotten that youâre rich? You drive a car worth tens of millions of dollars. What are
you so hesitant about? These lipsticks just cost more than a hundred thousand dollars. You can afford
it. If youâre hesitant, Iâll decide for you. Buy it!â Jared urged.
âThe car isnât mine. I just use it for the meantime,â Debbie uttered.
Actually, the car belonged to her husband, not her. She had nothing to show off.
Just then, a commotion occurred not far away.
Debbie Lifted her gaze to see what was happening. Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she almost
dropped the box of Lipsticks in shock.
Several people were making their way to the shop Debbie and her friends were in, The man in the lead
was wearing an expensive dark tailored suit. His attire emphasized his tall and straight figure. His deep
eyes were calm, yet his imposing aura made people back away and make way for him.
âThis man is⦠Oh, no! Itâs my husband! But who is the lady next to him? She has fair skin and a perfect
figure. Sheâs absolutely stunning,
* Debbie marveled inwardly.
It was unusual for Carlos to have a girlfriend, much less go to the public with her to go shopping. âIs he
so eager to show off their love?â Debbie wondered.
Having sensed Debbieâs gaze, Carlos cast a glance at her.
It seemed to have caught Debbie by surprise as she quickly lowered her head and stared at the
lipstick. Pretending to be calm, she asked
Kasie, âDo you think this color suits me?â
However, Kasie didnât answer her question. She tugged at Debbieâs sleeve excitedly and said, âYou
and Mr. Hilton meet again! What a coincidence!â
Kristina asked, âDebbie, who is the woman next to Mr. Hilton?â
Kasie asked, âDebbie, is Mr. Hilton here to see you?â
Debbie looked at the two women beside her morosely.
ALL of a sudden, an unfamiliar voice rang out.
âI donât think it suits you. After all, you canât afford it.â
Confused, Debbie raised her head to see who it was and she found that it was the woman next to
Carlos talking.
Did they know each other?
