Chapter 680
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Her eyes were red and swollen. Clearly, she had been crying. Without asking her, Wesley took her
suitcase and walked ahead.
For a moment, she was in a daze. When she came to her senses, she trotted to catch up with him.
âWhy are you here?â she asked.
âGive me back my suitcase.â
Without a word, Wesley walked out of the housing estate and stopped next to the military vehicle. He
put the suitcase in the trunk and opened the passenger door for her.
When she didnât move, he walked to her silently and scooped her up in his arms. He gently placed her
in the passenger seat and buckled her up.
âWesley, why are you here? What is this? Where are you taking me?â It had been a while since their
Last meeting. Looking at him, Blair bit her lips and tried her best not to let her tears fall.
Wesley didnât answer. He sat in the driverâs seat and started the vehicle.
Scenes from their last meeting came flooding back to him. It was two months ago. With her arm
wrapped in her fianceâs, she had told Wesley happily, âWeâre engaged. This is my fiance.â
But now, the engagement ring on her finger was gone. She had taken it off and thrown it at her bastard
fianceâs face. He was the one who had cheated on her, yet she was the one who had to pack
everything and leave the apartment.
She had been living there for several months. The vehicle finally came to a stop in front of an upscale
block of flats.
Wesley pulled up into the parking lot and took her to an apartment that was much larger and fancier
than her ex-fianceâs.
âYouâre pregnant. You need a quiet and serene place to take care of yourself and the baby.â
Blair waited a moment to calm herself down.
Then she gave him a puzzled look and asked, âPregnant? When was I ever pregnant? What made you
think that? And whose baby am I carrying?
Yours?â Her voice was laced with sarcasm.
âWe never slept together,â he said in a low voice.
âRight. I never slept with you. But I bet that woman did,â she said casually.
Wesley gave her a long look but didnât bother to explain anything.
âYou know the entry password. You can stay here. I wonât disturb you unless there is something
important. Bye.â
He turned to leave.
Blair said hurriedly, âOf course you wonât disturb me. You hate me, after all. I was wrong all along. I
shouldnât have disturbed you and your precious Megan in the past.â
Wesley paused, but he didnât look back. He opened the door and strode out without a word.
Looking around the empty apartment, she slumped into the couch and buried her teary face into her
hands.
Every time he saw her, she was in some kind of embarrassing situation.
