Chapter 731
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
The next day, Debbie struggled out of bed despite her tired limbs. She had called the courier guy over
to send back the ear studs to Hayden.
After he left the manor, she gave the tracking number to Hayden on
WeChat and added, âHayden, we are done. Donât contact me again.â
She blacklisted his number.
Although Debbie and Carlos had wild sex the whole night, he left for work as usual before she even
woke up. He hadnât forgiven her. Neither of them was in a good mood.
After lunch, Debbie stared blankly at a stack of documents on the table.
The first page was blank, but she was aware of what it was-her mysterious background.
She would know who her brother and mom were, and she would find out about her momâs family
background if she decided to turn over that page.
Unable to resist the temptation, she picked the documents up from the desk.
Half an hour later, she called Curtis.
He was working in his office. When he saw the caller ID, he smiled and answered the phone.
âHi, Deb. Whatâs up?â
Debbie didnât respond.
It was a weird situation. Curtis could tell something was not right. He pried, âDid you see the
documents?â
âYes,â was her short reply. It turned out that Curtis was herâ¦
âYou may call me âUncleâ from now on.â
Debbie didnât know how to respond to that. Yes. According to the documents, Curtis was Debbieâsâ¦
uncle.
Her mother was Ramona Loftus, the popular singer whom she used to Like a lot. Ramona and Curtis
had the same father, but different mothers
After a long pause, she said in a hoarse voice, âMr. Loftus, thank you for taking care of me all this time.
But letâs just be strangers from now on.â
She hated her mom for abandoning her, and she hated the Loftus family now.
Curtisâ smile disappeared. He couldnât believe it. He had thought that
Debbie would be thrilled after learning about their true relationship.
But she had chosen to break off all relations with him instead.
âDebbie, I know that I shouldnât have kept this from you. But trust me,
I bear no ill will.â
