Chapter 734
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âWas he calling to check on you?â
Debbie was amused by her words. She then pretended to be serious and said, âYeah. He heard I was
with Jared and Dixon, and he said heâd send them to the South Pole to breed penguins.â
Jared was boiling with rage at her words.
âTomboy, you have to talk him down. Youâre the one who invited me, remember? Call him now! Iâve
been to the South Pole before, and itâs freezing there. Never again!â
Sasha, however, burst out laughing.
âYeah! The South Pole! Sounds interesting! Donât worry, Jared. Iâll go with you.â Seriousness was
written all over her face.
However, Jared was too freaked out to think clearly. Ignoring Sasha, he went on pleading, âCome on,
Tomboy. Give him a ring before he asks his secretary to book a flight.â
Kasie picked up a piece of mutton and put it into her mouth. After swallowing it, she teased, âA flight?
You wish! Itâs not a vacation.
You might have to take a bus there.â
Ever since the trip to Southon Village, Jared hated buses so much that he swore to himself he would
never take a bus again.
âBus! God no!â Jaredâs face went pale.
Dixon chipped in calmly, âYou should feel Lucky you donât have to take a walking tractor there.â
âShut up, Dixon. Youâre going with me. Didnât you hear Tomboy?â Jared didnât understand why Dixon
was so calm and nonchalant about it.
With a smug smile, Dixon explained, âSorry, dude, I shouldâve told you earlier. Youâre going there alone.
Carlos is paying for my college abroad.â
âWhat?â Everyone except Kristina was taken aback by the sudden news.
Even Debbie was clueless.
âWhat? Where? England, maybe? What are you studying?â
âSo do you have a job lined up with Hilton Group at the end?â Kasie asked.
Kristina sighed and explained for her boyfriend, âDo you think the uber-possessive Carlos would let
Debbie study abroad with another man?
Sheâs going to England, while Dixon is going to America.â
Dixon nodded and told them everything. Carlos saw a lot of potential in him, so he decided to send him
to some college in America. As his sponsor, he had a lot of influence.
Carlos was a smart businessman, and he wouldnât gamble on a losing proposition.
So he offered Dixon a long-term contract. After Dixon graduated, he would go to work for Hilton Group.
Theyâd haggle over exactly where later on. His contract was for fifteen years, but at least he wouldnât
be job-hunting after college.
Kasie looked at Debbie, her mouth agape.
âFifteen years? Thatâs a Long time, Tomboy. Your husband had him sign a slave contract.â
