Chapter 763
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
âI wanted to give your baby a cash gift. Are you saying you donât need it? I know itâs not much, but at
least itâll be enough to buy half a can of milk powder.â
Damon rolled his eyes. He refused with contempt, âNo, thank you. Save your money to buy a ticket
back to England. It would be a huge favor to us if you Leave soon.â
Debbie didnât mind his rude words at all. Instead, she smiled and opened the door for him while saying,
âALL right, fine.â She Looked at
Carlos and continued, âHoney, Damon said that he didnât need our cash gift.â
Damon had just taken one step out of the ward when he froze. He returned in a flash and confronted
her, âHey, hey! Wait a second!
Pepper Debbie, cut it out. I donât need YOUR cash gift, but Iâve been waiting for Carlosâ! His gift is a
must! His cash gift will help me live a lot longer comfortably.â
Carlos shrugged and echoed his wife, âI guess you donât need our money.â
Damon panicked.
âCâmon, broâ¦â He turned to Debbie and begged, âPepper
Debbie⦠Umâ¦I meanâ¦Debbie, please! I was just kidding. I didnât mean to hurt you or anything. Donât
do this, okay? Come with me, IâLL take you to see my son. Heâs handsome, you know, looks just Like
meâ¦â
Curtis burst out laughing.
Seeing Debbie and Damon walking away shoulder to shoulder, Carlos yelled again, âCome back!â
Sensing the jealousy from the overbearing man, Damon moved some distance away from Debbie and
bade farewell to her apologetically
Debbie turned around to throw a glare at Carlos and then looked away.
She murmured with a pout, âIâll come back when you donât blame me anymore.â
Confused, Carlos asked, âWhen did I blame you
His words dumbfounded Debbie and the two men in the ward. Both Curtis and Wesley were shocked
by how much Carlos spoiled Debbie. He didnât blame her for anything she did
Coming back to her senses, Debbie pointed her finger at the sullen
Wesley and said in an innocent tone, âBut your friend is blaming meâ¦â
Caught off guard, Wesley was stumped. âWhy get me involved? This is a bicker between you two, â he
sighed.
Carlos looked at his friend and said coldly, matters to me. Please go back. Iâm fine here.â
âWesley, leave my wifeâs
Wesley nodded and left the ward without any hesitation.
Debbie couldnât believe what she was hearing. âI hurt Megan, but Wesley just let me off? Unbelievable!
â
With a triumphant smile, she rushed to the door and stuck her head out to look at Wesleyâs receding
figure. She shouted, âWesley, your girlfriend is lovely and very beautiful. I like her a lot. Please bring
her over next time so that I can have some fun with her!â
