Chapter 781
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Damon clapped his hands in excitement and nodded, âYes! Thatâs exactly what I meant!â It would have
been difficult for him to compare Debbie to an enchantress. But he found it amusing that she said it out
herself.
âDamon, I think your wife is being really nice to you lately. Why are you so free? Donât you have to earn
your Living?â Carlos grumbled
Damon sat cross-legged next to Carlos on the sofa and said casually,
âNever mind that. My dad is rich. I can just live on his money.
Besides, my parents are more than happy to spend all their money on my little son. So, why should I
care about earning any money?â
Carlos didnât want to waste his time talking this nonsense with Damon again. He turned to Debbie and
said in a soft voice, âWhy donât you go for some shopping like he said? Buy whatever you want and he
will pay for everything.â
âWhoa! Hold on a minute! Sheâs your wife, not mine. Why should I pay for your wife?â Damon
protested.
Carlos cast him a cold glance.
âItâs you who suggested that she go shopping, isnât it?â
âWell yeah⦠butâ¦â
âNo buts and ifs,â Carlos said, giving him no chance to protest. He looked back at Debbie and said,
âHoney, go ahead. Get some sleep after shopping. You can come back here tomorrow.â
Debbie hesitated. Carlosâ wound had bled again. She wasnât exactly in the mood to go shopping. But
since he had asked her to leave on his own volition, she thought it would be better if she did.
Considering he had been so bold to have sex with her in his wounded state, it wouldnât be safe for him
if she stayed by his side, just Like Damon had said. She decided that she would come later on.
âOkay, fine,â she nodded.
The couple reached an agreement, but Damon had still not agreed to pay for Debbieâs shopping
expenses
Ignoring his continuous protests, Curtis said, âDebbie, letâs go.â He dragged her Luggage behind him
and escorted her out of the ward.
âHey, donât go! I havenât agreed to anything yet. Heyâ¦â As soon as they were out of sight, Damon
stopped at once
As the door closed behind them, the playful expression on Damonâs face was instantly replaced by a
serious look. He turned to Carlos and persuaded in a stern voice, âCarlos, you donât have to join the
action tonight. Wesley and I can handle it.â
He was well aware that Carlos had deliberately found an excuse to make
Debbie leave.
He didnât want to worry Debbie.
Carlos lit a cigarette.
âI need to be there too. One more person joining in the action will increase the chances of winning the
battle.
I want to get this over with, once and for all.â Deep down, he didnât wish to get hurt again in the process
of protecting Megan, making
Debbie angry and worried.
They would have already taken action to finish off the enemies if
