hindering the truth. The person who was in charge of the investigation almost fell for them, but dug

Fiona is the woman he has been looking for. And now that Fiona has so greatly disappointed him, he

should be able to move on from the past and forget about that woman. Besides, it’s something of the

past. Even if Mrs. Thomas does remember it, which isn’t likely, I doubt she will go to him because of it.
