Chapter 80
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
Chapter: 81
âHe looks so intimidating! And his face looks familiar, â he thought.
âI think Iâve seen him somewhere. Ah, I remember him! Heâs Carlos!â he silently exclaimed.
âHow come heâs here? Does he know this bitch?â The very thought brought
Victor out in a cold sweat.
Annoyed, Carlos shook him off. Victor was once again thrown onto the floor; he rolled about three
meters before he finally stopped. Once again, everyone burst into Laughter. They thought, âHow could
a man be so entangled on such a funny scene?â
However, several others didnât laugh; they were Debbie and the senior executives of the mall.
Surprised by his presence, Kasie and Kristina wondered why Carlos was there. It seemed like they had
forgotten that
Debbie was in trouble with Carlos, and they were now drooling over his handsome face.
âUhâ¦â Debbie was about to greet her husband, but she lost her words when she caught sight of his
cold eyes. The once strong and fearless woman, who had just beaten up a man, now seemed to act
like a little girl who was about to get scolded. She clenched her clothes and Lowered her head, like an
obedient wife.
âOh no! Is he going to throw me out of the mall again?â she thought.
âThis time, Iâm screwed. Just why is he here?â
After staring at Debbie who was now acting so obedient, Carlos turned to look at a saleslady and coldly
asked, âWhat happened?â Dominated by his prominent, alluring figure, the saleslady didnât dare to utter
a single word.
Curious of the man who just appeared, Gail, who was standing not far away, widened her eyes upon
seeing Carlos. âThe man is so handsome, â she realized. âI remember him. He didnât even punish me for
what Iâve done on his launch event. He must have a thing for me, â she thought, giggling a Little.
Amused by her own idea, she plucked up some courage and went up to him, feigning a soft and
innocent voice.
âCarlos, Iâm Gail Murphy. I took a fancy to a collar pin in this store. Then, I went to the ladiesâ room for a
bit and when I came back, my classmate already took it away. I told her that it was already reserved for
me, but she didnât Listen.
Victor, the vice-general manager, also persuaded her but it went in vain. Not only did she not listen to a
word we said, she even beat
Victor.â
âWhat? She didnât even mention that Victor is her boyfriend. Is she trying to pick Carlos up? What a
slut!â Debbie thought after hearing her words.
Not giving a care to Gailâs words, Carlos didnât even cast a single glance at her He just Looked at
Debbie and then stepped into the store asking, âWhereâs the collar pin?â
Immediately, a salesgirl held embroidered box in her cupped hands and passed it to him.
Reaching his arm out, he took the box over, opened it and looked at the collar pin and the brooch. âWhy
would Debbie want to buy a collar pin and a brooch? Could it be that she only wanted to stir up trouble
for the girl?â he thought, wondering why Debbie would go to such extremes for such things.
âCarlos, please let me handle this,â said the general manager with a flattering smile on his face, as he
sauntered closer. He knew better than to trouble a man like Carlos with such trivial matters. More
importantly, if Carlos was to deal with the problem himself, the general manager and a few other senior
executives might end up getting fired.
Everyone heard how the general manager had addressed Carlos. âAh, so he is Carlos!â People stared
at Carlos in awe and wonder.
âShining International Plaza is under Hilton Group, and the head of
Hilton Group is Carlos. So that makes him Carlos, the CEO of Hilton
Group.â
