Chapter 811
Burning Passion: Love Never Die
The assistant stood nearby, stunned by what he overheard during the conversation.
âIâm leaving.â
Leon swiftly entered his car and headed toward the location Fiona had mentioned.
As Leonâs car pulled away, Loisâs vehicle coincidentally arrived. âWhereâs he off to?â
Lois alighted from her car, addressing Leonâs assistant.
âFiona claims to be at deathâs door. The boss is going to bid her farewell. Who knows what that devious
Fiona is scheming? Just days ago, she seemed perfectly fine, and now sheâs suddenly claiming to be
at deathâs door. She even mentioned wanting to share a secret with the boss. Itâs probably all a ploy,â
the assistant grumbled.
Fiona on her deathbed? A secret? Loisâ instincts tingled.
Fiona seemed determined to confess the truth to Leon before her final breaths. She sought revenge.
Loisâ eyes dimed momentarily.

âMiss Rayne, are you alright?â inquired the assistant.
Forcing composure, Lois responded, âIâm fine. Iâll go take a Look.â After navigating winding roads, Leon
finally reached the destination Fiona indicated.
Before a dilapidated door, Leon exerted force and pushed it open, his countenance laden with
seriousness.
Inside, dampness prevailed, as though it hadnât been inhabited for ages.
Fiona lay on a wooden plank, still and with closed eyes
âFiona!â
Leon approached and touched her, a wave of relief washing over him as he sensed warmth.
Fiona made a feeble effort to open her eyes.
âYouâre really here,â her feeble voice emerged.
Confronted with that handsome countenance, Fionaââs disbelief was palpable.
âIâLL get you to the hospital.â
Leon swept his gaze over Fionaâs battered form.
âNo. Iâm aware my time is near. Iâm truly yearning for sleep.â
