I sang along with PnB as I got dressed and ready for school.

I woke up in a good ass mood for some unknown reason.

Dad: India come get your breakfast !

Me: Okay!

I finished getting ready then I went downstairs.

Me: Goodmorning daddy.

Dad: Goodmorning kid.

I sat at the table and began eating the pancakes, eggs and bacon he made.

Me: That was so good.

I said once I was done eating. He chuckled.

Dad: I bet it was. But I have a question.

Me: Yea?

Dad: What's up with you and Jas?

Me: What do you mean ?

Dad: Well 1 minute you guys were semi-yelling at eachother then the next minute she leaves smiling and shit. So what's up ?

I looked down smiling don't ask me why cause I don't know.

Me: Ohhh. You heard us ?

Dad: Yea and now that your blushing, I'm gon' take a guess and say y'all dating.

Me: No, no we're just friends.

Dad: Yea okay.

Me: Seriously.

He chuckled.

Dad: I hear you.

Me: Dad I'm serious.

He chuckled again.

Dad: You need a ride to school?

Me: No I'm just going to take my car but thanks anyway.

I hugged him.

Dad: Alright see you later. I love you.

Me: I love you too.

I walked outside and to my surprise Jasmine was out there, leaning on her car.

I smiled at her in awe.

Jasmine: Wassup.

She said as she picked me up.

Me: Well I am now.

We both laughed as she put me down.

Me: What chu doing here.

Jasmine: I came to give my friend a ride to school.

Me: Ohh no that's okay, I don't want you to go through the troubles.

She laughed.

Jasmine: Girl if you don't get yo ass in the car.

I playfully rolled my eyes and got in the car as she opened the door for me.

Jasmine: So I want to introduce you to my friends.

Me: But I already know you friends.

Jasmine: But not the real them.

She whined like a child.

Me: Okay fine, your such a baby.

Jasmine: Not in-

Me: Don't you dare.

She laughed and I shook my head.

My phone started vibrating so I pulled it out of my pocket and look at the screen that read "Future🔐". I smiled and answered her call.

Me: Hello.

Kiara: What cha doing babygirl?

Me: Nothing on my way to school.

Kiara: But your car is in the drive way.

Me: How you know that?

She softly laughed.

Kiara: Don't think I'm a stalker or anything but I'm outside your house, I stopped by to give you a ride to school.

Me: Awe that's so sweet.

Kiara: I guess I should've called first, right ?

Me: Yeah, I'm on my way now.

Kiara: Can I pick you up from school ?

Me: You don't have to do that.

Kiara: But I want to.

I smiled to myself.

Me: Okay...See you later?

Kiara: See you later.

She hung up and I smiled.

Jasmine: Who is your future ?

She asked making googly eyes.

Me: Mind your business.

I said laughing.

Jasmine: Nah forreal I wanna know.

Me: Her name is Kiara.

Her facial expression quickly changed.

Jasmine: The stud ?

Me: Yea, why you say it like that ?

She pulled into her assigned parking space and looked me dead in my eyes.

Jasmine: Just be careful India.

Me: What does that mean ?

She got out, walked around to my side and opened the door.

Jasmine: I'll see you later alright ?

She hugged me and walked away, locking her doors before I could even say anything.

* End of the day *

It's been 30 fucking minutes and im still waiting on Kiara to pick me up.

I've called, texted her, everything and got nothing back from her. Where the fuck is she?!

??: India?

I turned around and spotted Rico.

Me: Yes?

She looked down and put her hands in her pocket.

Rico: Listen, I'm sorry for pouring water on you and bully you and saying rude shit to you and-

I stopped her.

Me: It's okay I know you only did it because of Jasmine but me and her are good now and I don't hold grudges so...we're good ?

She smiled.

Rico: Yea we're good.

I pulled her into a friendly hug which soon ended when Kiara pulled up yelling and shit.

Kiara: Who the fuck is this ?!

She asked pointing to Rico and before I could even speak Rico stepped into her face.

Rico: You need not to worry 'bout who I am.

Kiara's jaw clenched.

Kiara: You better watch who the fuck you talking to and stay away from my girl, you heard ?

Rico laughed.

Kiara: Joke ?

She laughed again.

Rico: Lemme get the fuck up outta here 'fore I have to lay you down. I'll see you later India.

She walked away and I looked at Kiara, she had pure anger in her eyes.

Me: Where were you ?

I asked softly.

Kiara: Like you give a fuck. You out here hugged up on dike bitches and shit.

Me: It wasn't even like that, she's most definitely just a friend.

I said being serious.

Me: If I didn't give a fuck about where you were why would I blow up your phone like I did? Hmm?

She looked at her phone for a minute and I slick smiled knowing she knew I was right.

Kiara: Whatever man. Get yo ass in the car.

Me: Not until I get a hug and an apology.

She smirked and wrapped her arms around my waist.

Kiara: I'm sorry baby girl.

I smiled.

Me: It's okay now let's go.

We got in the car and she drove off.
