My Bestfriend's Brother Shouldn't Know How I Taste

Bailey's pov

Katrina and I got into Stefan's car and we headed to the party, but we

are surprised to have met Kaleb on the way. If I didn't know any better I

would've said he was purposely driving slow so Stefan would catch up.

When we got to the house, the party was already in full swing. Teens

littered the lawn, some dancing while others downed whatever liquid

were in the cups.

We stepped out of the car and Mira skipped over to Katrina and I,

linking her arms with ours. " Ready to take the stench of hormonal

teens?" her nose wiggled in distate.

Both Katrina and I gave her a side glare. " You're the one who forced us

to tag along." Katrina pointed out, leading Mira to shrug.

We entered the house, wincing when the sound of the music blasting

off the walls made my ears ring. The boys were behind us but stepped

ahead as people who were obviously drunk and half drunk cheered

them on.

Katrina, Mira and me curled closer to each other as we weave away

from the crowd. I felt out of place here.

" We should probably get ourselves some drinks?" Mira suggested,

looking around for the kitchen area.

" No drinking remember?" I yelled, trying to get my voice to her over the

blasting music.

" Kaleb, Ryan! " A guy leaning against the doorframe yelled, waving at

the boys to come over. Mira being the nosey sister she is, followed after

the guys while dragging Katrina and me along with her.

Despite not wanting to be close to Kaleb....Mira was making this difficult

for me.

The first thing that caught my attention was the blonde girl lying across

the kitchen island on her back. Her top was lifted slightly just under her

breasts and her stomach was exposed.

She giggled as the guy who called Kaleb and the guys over pour some

liquid in her belly button. The guy smirked at Kaleb and wiggled his

brow. " This is your treat for tonight captain.”

My stomach dropped and all I wanted to do was barf.

When I thought it wouldn't get worse, it did. Juliet who had been trailing

after Kaleb like a lost puppy decided to yap out of her mouth. * The only

girl Kaleb will do body shots on is me."

I didn't turn to look at Kaleb's reaction, nor did I care to....I didn't care

right?

I needed a breather.

I untangle myself from Mira and brought my lips to her ear so I can

utter. * I'm going to find the bathroom okay?"

Before she can protest and tell me she will tag along, I rush away from

her like the fire of hell was nipping at my feet. I disappeared into the

crowd and made my way up the stairs, dodging a couple of clumsy

teens.

She would have a hard time catching up to me if she followed after me

as everyone were clamped together on the dance floor, making it

difficult for anyone to pass through without a struggle.

I made my way upstairs and decided to enter the first unlocked room. I

didn't need to pee so I didn't think it would be a good idea to hog up a

bathroom someone else needed desperately.

The room was empty and dark, but the sliding door leading to the

balcony was open. I sighed and sat down on the bed, trying to get my

thoughts together.

I have changed since sleeping with Kaleb. I do not feel like myself

anymore. It feels like I am constantly on eggshells around both him and

Mira.

As the thoughts bound into my head, my phone buzzes in my bag. I

took it out and it's a message from Mira. She's asking why I left and

she's coming up to meet me.

I texted her quickly saying that I was okay and I would join them back

soon. It took a little longer to convince her and she finally agreed to not

come up to look for me.

I sighed and plopped on the bed, looking out the opened door. The cool

breeze flushed against my face and I cracked a smile.

At least this can cool me off.

I just need to stay here for a few minutes until I am sure Kaleb is done

doing body shots on girls.

Then I'd find an excuse to leave...

Or maybe I should make an excuse now. Say I vomited and I feel

incredibly sick?

Just as the thought came into my head, the door suddenly burst open.

Startled I looked at the intruder, my heart skipping when I realized I had

not locked the damn door.

How stupid can I be!?

I swallowed and scurried to my feet, ready to scream bloody murder

when his voice reached my ears.

“I'm starting to think dark rooms are our thing, flower." The lock clicks in

place and my heart began to beat impossibly fast.
