Mrs. Gibson Your Identity Is Exposed Chapter 120
Mrs. Gibson, Your Identily Is Exposed
Chapter 120 Factory No.1 Is Questionable
It was getting late at night.
Melissa was packing up her personal belongings when a cough came suddenly.
Melissa looked up and saw Murray standing at the door of her bedroom,
Murray in a white night-robe leaned against the doorframe. The usual indifference and alienation left
him, so he looked casual and natural.
This sight stunned Melissa for a moment.
Noticing Melissaâs gaze, Murray curled his lips into a smile and chuckled in a low voice,
âAttractive?â
âMurray, when did you come?â Melissa regained her senses and cleared her throat awkwardly.
Murray straightened himself and walked towards Melissa. âHave you packed up everything you
need?â
âYes.â Melissa nodded.
She had packed up some daily necessities.
âWe will leave early tomorrow,â Murray said.
Melissa put her stuff into her suitcase. âOkay.â
Right then, Murrayâs phone rang.
Murray checked his phone and found that the caller was Joe, the head of the factory in Wyvernholt.
âJoe, whatâs up?â Murray answered the phone.
âMr. Gibson, we found that the problematic batch of jewelry came from Factory No.1.â Joeâs voice came
from the other end of the phone.
Murray became stern. âDoes that mean the problem roots from Factory No.1?â
Joe nodded. âYes. Every part of the production process in Factory No.1 is under examination. I will get
an investigation report tomorrow.â
Murray said in a low voice, âGreat.â
After Murray hung up the phone, Melissa asked, âAny update from Wyvernholt?â
âYes.â Murray narrowed his eyes and said in a cold voice, âFactory No.1 is questionable.â
âSince the investigation has been narrowed down to Factory No.1, we will find out the problem
soon.â Melissa pondered.
âNo.â Murray became serious, âWhoever can cause trouble within the Gibson Corporation wonât be
a man in the street.â
âYou are right.â Melissa nodded.
Indeed, what had happened recently was weird as if a boss behind the scene got everything under
control
To make things worse, neither Murray nor Melissa knew who their enemy was, so the Gibson
Corporation was at a serious disadvantage now.
âAnyway, weâll talk about this problem when we reach France tomorrow.â Melissa frowned, so Murray
patted her on the shoulder with a gentle light in his eyes. âHave an early night.â
âGood night!â Melissa smiled.
Melissa tossed and turned all night.
Melissa got up early in the morning and hurriedly washed up. On the stairs, she heard the doorbell ring.
Who is coming at this hour? Melissa wondered.
Murray opened the door and saw Sarah and Claire outside the door.
âMom, why are you here?â Murray frowned.
âWell, you donât welcome me, do you?â Sarah looked young in an orange dress and spoke with a cold
look.
Before Murray responded, Sarah walked directly to the living room and sat on a sofa. Claire followed
behind.
âMurray, do you ignore me?â Sarah looked at Murray with dissatisfaction. âDonât you care about the
complaint from the board?â
The complaint? Melissa wondered.
Melissa became interested in this conversation.
âI am dealing with it,â Murray said indifferently.
âAre you? How? We told you to fire Melissa. Why havenât you done so?â Sarah raised her voice. âDo
you want to witness the collapse of the Gibson Corporation?â
Melissa pursed her lips and thought, So, the so-called complaint is about firing me.
How ridiculous!
Murray turned cold and looked down at his wrist, âMelissa has nothing to do with this matter. Iâm going
to Wyvernholt, and I have to hurry up. Mom, you may leave now if you have nothing else to say.â
Sarah became angry at this expulsion. She looked up and saw Melissa coming downstairs with a
suitcase. Sarah asked coldly, âWill she go to France with you?â
âYes.â Melissa walked over to Murray with her suitcase, put the suitcase on the ground, and held
Murray by the arm. âCanât I go with Murray?.â
This intimacy stung Claire, so she bit the corner of her lips and said, âMurray, let me go with you.â
âBe reasonable!â Murray refused without hesitation.
âMurray, Iâm reasonable,â Claire said eagerly, âI want to help.â
â âClaire is right. She can help if you let her go with you.â Sarah agreed.
Melissa thought, Help?
Isnât she kissing the baby for the nurseâs sake?
Melissa sneered at the memory of what Claire had done to the drunk Murray that night. âIâm afraid
sheâll be a hindrance. What can Claire do there?â
âMelissa, what do you mean by that?â Claireâs face stiffened. Before Claire opened her mouth again,
Murray stopped her with a cold voice.
âEnough.â Murray was getting impatient. âClaire, all you need to do is to focus on your studies. Donât
worry about the Gibson Corporation as I will solve all those problems.â
Claire was reluctant to give up her plan. She took a deep breath and retorted, âWhy canât I if Melissa
goes?â
âGrandpa told her to. Do you want to ask Grandpa why you canât go?â Murray mentioned Marc because
he did not want to waste his time with Sarah and Claire anymore.
Claire bit the corner of her lips and looked at Sarah with a look of grievance, âSarahâ¦â
Sarah stood up and looked at Murray angrily, âAlright. If so, I will say nothing more. However,
remember one thing, if the Gibson Corporation continues to suffer losses because of Melissa, I will not
let her go easily!â
âEnough. Mom, hurry, take Claire home.â Murray ordered expressionlessly.
Furious, Sarah took Claire away.
Claire added fuel to the fire. âSarah, look, Murray doesnât respect you at all. He wasnât like this in the
past. Itâs all Melissaâs fault! I wonder how that bumpkin bewitches Murray and makes him lose
himself. If Murray does marry her, what will become of us in the Gibson Corporation in the future?â
âClaire, donât worry. I wonât allow Murray to marry that woman!â Sarah clutched her chest and snorted.
Looking at the backs of both Sarah and Claire, Melissa feit a little uncomfortable.
Melissa thought, In the past month, I have worked hard for the Gibson Corporation, but Sarah
colluded with the board to fire me.
How absurd!
Melissa calmed herself down. Then, she looked at Murray and said coldly, âDonât worry. Iâll leave in two
months. Then, your mother wonât make things difficult for you anymore.â
