Chapter 712
Mrs. Gibson, Your Identily Is Exposed
Chapter 712 Safeguarding children
Murray frowned at the words of the family doctor.
âExcessive anxiety?â He asked.
Thinking back on the recent past, Melissa had been actually really busy trying to come to a truce with
Sally, and Quentin had shown up with his own bout of trouble, so Melissa had been really busy, to be
honest.
Murray looked at Melissa, who was unconscious, with distress in his eyes.
âIâve given her a sedative shot, but I still need to observe more. Itâs hard to deal with sudden fainting.
Itâs best to take her to the hospital for a checkup tomorrow.â the doctor said.
Murray nodded and sent the family doctor back.
The next morning, when it was late enough for everyone sleeping to have woken up, Murray shook
Melissa a few times, but there was still no sign of waking up.
It seemed that this time, she was really exhausted.
But how could it be so serious for no reason? Yesterdayâs wedding was fine, but now she is hopelessly
unconscious.
Murray had no other option than to take her to the best hospital in the city.
Soon, Melissa was taken into the diagnosis room, leaving only Murray waiting in front of the door.
âWhat Happened?â?â Mr Marc appeared from the entrance and asked.
He received a notification from the family doctor early in the morning. Hearing that Melissa was sick, he
rushed over immediately.
âMelissa fainted suddenly last night. The doctor said it was due to excessive anxiety. I called her this
morning and she didnât wake up, so I sent her to the hospital.â Murray said.
His remarks made Mr. Marc frown.
âWhy all of a sudden? Wasnât she fine yesterday?â Mr Marc asked.
Murray bit his lip and didnât reply.
Suddenly, the door of the diagnosis room swung open, and the doctor came out.
âDoctor, howâs it going?â Murray asked.
Mr. Marc hurried forward with a worried look on his face.
âIt is detected that the pregnant womanâs emotional concentration is high, and she is very likely to have
anxiety problems, which is very unfriendly to a pregnant woman.â
The doctorâs face looked bad, and it was obvious that this time the condition was a little serious.
âPregnant woman?â Murray and Mr Marc echoed in unison.
They stared at each other.
âYou mean, my wife is pregnant?â Murray asked.
âDonât you know?â The doctor asked.
The doctor could not believe that Murray did not know his wifeâs condition.: âFrom the fetus, it is already
a month pregnant.â he said to Murray.
This is great news for the Gibson family.
Murray froze, unable to believe what he was hearing.
âIs what you said true?â Mr Marc asked.
He reconfirmed, and the doctor nodded.
âYes, butââ the doctor was saying, but he hesitated. His face was ugly- âBut what?â Murray asked.
He swallowed hard. Now that Melissa had two lives, there could be no more accidents.
But the doctor just shook his head.
âIn short, take good care of her mood these days, otherwise it will be detrimental to the fetus,â he said.
âDoctor, whatâs the matter?â Mr Marc asked.
He saw the doctorâs hesitation and his face became serious.
âIâm afraid you wonât be able to accept it.â the doctor said with embarrassment.
âWe detected that the patientâs mood and body are very unstable.
The fetus is just a full moon and has not yet formed. This has a great impact on the fetus, so the fetus
mayâ¦â
The doctor hesitated for a moment, which made Murray even more anxious.
âMay what?â Murray asked.
He almost rushed to grab the doctorâs collar, but Mr Marc stopped him.
âItâs okay doctor, you can say whatever.â Mr Marc said.
He saw the seriousness of the matter and took in a deep breath âIf you are really in a hurry to have a
baby, there is a huge demand for Ariana Paulâs body. Now the patientâs body canât carry a pregnancy.
Forcing the fetus to develop in the body may threaten the patientâs life and lead to death.â
The doctorâs words left Murray stunned.
He was still immersed in the joy of having a child just now, and now he told him the news.
âWhether the child is to be kept or saved is entirely up to you. You can decide for yourself.â
The doctor said, and shook his head helplessly, seeing Murrayâs hesitant look, and then returned to the
operating room to check on Melissaâs condition.
Murray froze, the doctorâs words âcausing deathâ echoed back and forth in his ears.
He began to regret it, knowing that he should have paid more attention to Melissaâs feelings over the
past days,, and should never compromise her stability over anything else..
Otherwise, Melissa wouldnât be where she was at the moment..
Murray was very remorseful. He squatted in front of the door of the diagnosis room, looked at the
closed door of the diagnosis room, and for a while did not know what to do..
âItâs useless to think about it now.â Mr Marc said.
He saw through Murray, and didnât like what he was seeing, but the fact was that he didnât know how to
decide for now.
âHave you made up your mind? Is the child going or staying?â he asked Murray.
Murray stared blankly at the ceiling: âMelissa is my love, how could I give her up for someone who
never even got the chance to live?âMurray said, i?â
Murrayâs remarks angered Mr. Marc.
âWhat are you talking about? He is your child, the child of the Gibson family! â Mr Marc belched.
âDo you want to abandon Melissa for someone who hasnât seen the light of day yet? Is she filial to
you?â Murray asked.
His voice was hoarse, and he looked at Mr. Marc with a corny countenance..
âOf course I donât want to do that, but thatâs the Gibson familyâs child and I canât give him up.â Mr Marc
said.
He darkened his eyes and looked at the closed door in front of him, and his heart ached for a while.
Only yesterday he witnessed two people walk into the marriage hall together, and now it had reached
the point of whether to go or stay.
âThen you can drop Melissa?â Murray asked.
His voice was a little uncontrollable. There was no one in the corridor of the operating theater, and his
voice echoed..
âYou donât understand, if this child is gone, Melissaâs body would depreciate, can she have another
one?â Mr Marc asked. He was protecting his interest to have a grandchild.
Hearing this, Murray sneered.
âOh, as long as there are people, how can you be afraid of not having children?â
Murray looked at Mr Marc with cold eyes.: âNone of US have the right to decide whether Melissa lives
or dies.. Letâs make a decision when she wakes up. Donât get too carried awayâ Murray said.
Mr. Marc was obviously in a hurry, this was the child of the Gibson family, how could he just give up on
his grandchild like that?.
âThis child must be preserved. He is not only your child, but the bloodline of the Gibson family.â Mr
Marc said to Murray.
âIf it werenât for Melissa, I would have no feelings for this child at all. If Melissa is gone, what would I do
with this child?â Murray asked.
This was one of the rare times that Murray confronted Mr Marc, and it was about Melissaâs life. He was
not going to give in to Mr Marcâs suggestion. Not even for the slightest reason.
