Chapter 719
Mrs. Gibson, Your Identily Is Exposed
Chapter 719 The child is gone
After Mr. Marc left, Murray didnât pay him any more attention. He turned his head and looked at Melissa
who was unconscious in front of him.
It had taken a long time, and Melissa showed no sign of waking up, which made Murray even more
anxious.
He sent someone to remove her blood-stained clothes and lay her flat on the bed.
She was still very pale, looking like a dying patient.
Murray was distressed, and soon the doorbell rang outside the door.
He frowned and opened the door to find the doctor standing there.
This was the best doctor in the country, and now that Melissa was in a coma, it was not easy to transfer
her to the city, so the doctor had to make this trip.
Although they traveled by plane, the trip still took some time.
âDoctor, Iâm sorry to bother you. Welcomeâ Murray said with a muffled voice, and stepped back to allow
the doctor in.
Oh, come on, sir. This is my job. Iâm doing my job,â the doctor replied, and walked into the room,
holding his medical apparatus.
Originally, this place was used to raise Melissaâs unborn child.. Due to her sudden health relapse, Mr.
Marc asked someone to bring over the best hospital equipment early in the morning.
As a result of this, Melissaâs room was filled with all kinds of apparatus, and there was no need to go to
the hospital.
This gave Melissa a comfortable environment, and she could recover well.
Murray was relieved, and the servants brought the apparatus in.
The doctor first gave Melissa a general examination, and then checked the situation in her abdomen.
The fetus was not yet formed. Although it was a miscarriage, according to Melissaâs physical condition,
a miscarriage was just a matter of time.
If the child was gone earlier, it was best for her body.
If she had waited until the child was formed and bigger, Melissaâs body would not have been able to
support it anymore.
âThe patientâs emotional anxiety and tension were detected, which may be due to recent stress.â
The doctor explained Melissaâs condition while examining her.
Murray all listened quietly, frowning.
Unexpectedly, Melissa suffered so much damage in the few days that he was away.
His eyes darkened, silently promising that he would never allow anyone to hurt Melissa again.
The doctor took a few bottles of vitality solvents and potions and handed them to the servant next to
him: ââshe is in a coma and canât eat, so she can only be temporarily supported with vitality solvents.
These bottles of potions will be given to her at night.okay?â â The doctor said..
He told the servants the details, and Murray silently wrote it down.
Soon, an infusion tube was inserted into Melissaâs delicate hand, and Murray watched with distress for
a while.
Melissa was hospitalized for an infusion a few days ago, and now she has to go through the same pain
again.
Murray stood beside Melissaâs bed, leaned down and stroked Melissaâs plump forehead, slowly
descending to the bridge of his high nose.
Melissa was really beautiful, but her body was broken.
For several days, Melissa had to rely on these potions and nutrients to survive, and Murray would
change her clothes every day, turn her over, and occasionally wipe her body.
After several days, Melissa was still lying quietly on the bed, her eyes tightly closed, which made
Murray very anxious.
In the morning, the warm sunlight filtered into the room through the screen window, Melissaâs face
gradually turned rosy, and her fingers moved slightly for a while.
Murray was resting his head on Melissaâs bed, and he watched Melissa fall asleep like this for several
days.
âMurrayâ¦â Melissa whispered.
Just as Murray was about to get up, a familiar voice rang in his ear.
He hurriedly turned his head and saw that Melissaâs eyes were slightly open.
Youâre awake,â He yelped.
Murrayâs heart was so excited that he leaned down and gently lifted Melissa up.
I need to drink water,â Melissa whispered.
Hearing Melissaâs very hoarse voice, Murray turned to get her a cup of hot water, even though she had
been unconscious all these days, there was always hot water in the room for her.
She took a sip, then handed it back to Murray, shook her head, and looked at the infusion in her hand
again.
âYou have been in a coma for a while. This is the infusion the doctor gave you.â Murray said, seeing
that Melissa looked sad, and there was not much to say to her for now because of her condition.
Is my child still alive?â Melissa asked soon after When she was in a coma, she felt the coolness under
her body, and when she looked down, bursts of blood seeped out from her dress.
Murray stuttered.. He knew that Melissa was going to ask him this question. Even though he had
thought about how to answer her countless times, when her health was not right, he couldnât say a
word.
Is my child still alive?â Melissa asked again, only this time in a slightly emotional state.
âThe doctor said, you canât afford to be upset,â Murray said. He worried about Melissaâs body and
sighed heavily.
âWe will have other children in the future.â he said.
Melissaâs eyes narrowed, and she touched her flat belly. A few days ago, she felt happy that a little life
was quietly growing in her belly. Now, that feeling disappeared.
âWe will still have other children.â Murray said He couldnât stand it any longer, he stepped forward and
hugged Melissaâs shoulder, he couldnât bear the loss.
Melissa was imprisoned here because of this child. Now that the child was gone, there was no solace
in her heart.
Melissaâs tears dropped from the corners of her eyes. She cried silently, but Murray knew that the more
painful it was, the quieter she cried.
Have a good cry if you want,â Murray said to her.
He took Melissa into his arms, wiping the tears gently from her face.
âHe was just forming in me and left me suddenly,â Melissa said with a muffled voice.
She had a dream that the child beckoned to her from a distance, the child cried and spoke to her.
âMum doesnât like me, Iâm leaving.â âHe will bless you from heaven.â Murray said softly, and the next
second, the door of the room swung open.
âMelissa woke up?â A familiar voice came from the door before they had a chance to see who it was.
It was Mr. Marc who pushed open the door. He knew that he had no reason to be there at the moment.
But it was all up to him, and he had to come to see what happened to Melissa.
Seeing Mr. Marc, Melissaâs face fell instantly.
âWhat are you doing here?â Melissa asked, which immediately made Mr Marc feel embarrassed.
Murray also resented Mr. Marc, so he ignored him.
Mr Marc was in a difficult situation.
I came to check on you,â Mr Marc said.
He was not happy with himself, and it showed on him. Melissa was his daughter-in-law and he took that
sort of drastic action against her. He should not have done what he did for any reason in the world.
Are you done yet? when you are done checking on me, you can please, leave,â Melissa said with a
cold tone, she knew she was hurting the old man, but it was his fault because, if he had not imprisoned
her in that villa, all the trouble and stress that she had gone through would not have happened.
