Chapter 827
Mrs. Gibson, Your Identily Is Exposed
Chapter 827 Find a way to go back
âWho do you think is the mastermind behind this?â Murray asked her.
Melissa sat down and didnât say anything at first as she composed her thoughts.
âShe had the plastic surgery out of state.. Isnât Mrs. Gibson out of state? Could it be possible that Mrs.
Gibson helped her?â
Melissa and Murry had problems with the Yale family before and were able to outmaneuver them. They
didnât understand why Adela wanted to infiltrate Melissaâs company nor why Mrs. Gibson wanted to
help her. Because of Mrs. Gibsonâs support, Melissa couldnât find her background information.
âYou suspect my mother?â Murray asked.
âI rather continue this conversation once I have all the facts,â Melissa answered.
Once Murray had finished the reception banquet preparation, he called Jill over to sit with him and
Melissa.
âIt really scared me to death today. I thought your company was going to end,â Jill said. Although Jill
spent the day in the flower shop, her heart was with Melissa.
Melissa was not offended and understood her situation.
âYou shouldnât have worried. I am used to this kind of thing,â Melissa said. She ate her food silently and
it was apparent that she was not in a good mood.
Jill winked at Murray before saying,
âWhoever it is, probably doesnât have as much as you. If it were me, Iâm afraid I would have been
beaten by in this game!â
Everyone at the table agreed with Jill, but Melissa did not smile. It became awkward and dinner was
finished solemnly.
Melissa stood alone on the balcony, closed her eyes and carefully felt the breeze blowing over her
body, but she didnât feel cool at all.
Murray took a coat and draped it over her and said, âItâs cold tonight.â
Melissa smiled at him but said nothing.
âI know you are unhappy because of what happened. You can vent everything to me!â Murray stated.
He didnât want Melissa to internalize any of this. Even if she cursed
and screamed all night, it was better than her bottling it up.
âI just canât think of who would hate me so much to do this,â Melissa said with a sigh.
If it was her own child, she would definitely not interfere with her childrenâs freedom to make their own
choices.
âIâll investigate and get to the bottom of this,â Murray said and
Melissa nodded.
She and Murray returned to their company shortly after the results of the investigation.
It really took them by surprise.
âYou were right, Mr. Gibson,â Murrayâs assistant. Melissa was already mentally prepared when the
assistant came to report.
Murray immediately called his mother.
âMy good son, you finally think of me.â Mrs. Gibson said happily. She was unaware of the current
situation as she was not active on social media. Mrs. Gibson had been waiting fo Adela to report back
to her, to let her know she was successful in ruining Melissa.
Melissa had no feelings for nostalgia or love toward her mother- in-law. She was indifferent, only
wanting to know why she would stoop so low to do this.
âAdela has been caught. She told me everything. You put her up to this, didnât you?â Murray stated
calmly. His voice was calm, but his eyes were filled with rage.
Mrs. Gibson on the other end of the phone was stunned for a moment, then quickly said, âYou must be
mistaken. I have no idea what youâre talking about.â
âAre you going to continue lying?â Murray demanded, raising his voice. He took a breath to calm
himself before continuing, âI know you helped her with everything. I have the evidence to prove it. Are
you going to continue lying to me?â
âListen to me. I didnât want to do this myself. I just missed you so much that I thought of this way! I
know itâs not right,â Mrs. Gibson admitted. She knew she had been caught and there was no reason to
continue lying.
Hearing the truth, Melissa felt a chill go through her. Why would she do this to her?,
âYou have disrespected my marriage. Youâve disrespected and betrayed me. Since you want to live in
the past, Iâll make that happen for you,â Murray respondly coldly. He meant what he said to Melissa. He
would make any person that wronged her pay.
âSon, what do you mean? What are you saying?â Mrs. Gibson questioned. She knew her sonâs
tendency to be vengeful. He wouldnât do that to me. Iâm his mother, she thought.
âFrom this day forward, I will no longer send you an allowance..
Since you have the money to splurge on Adela and schemes to ruin my wife,, then you should have the
money to control your life.â
As soon as Murray said this, Mrs. Gibson shouted, âHow could you treat your flesh and blood like this?
I donât blame you sending me away, but you have to stop nowy!â
Melissa watched the quarrel between mother and son. She put her hand gently on her bulging belly,
and swore in her heart that she would never act like this with her child..
âAdela has already taken all my money. I have nothing left. If you cut me off, I will become homeless!â
Mrs. Gibson cried bitterly..
Murray hung up the phone and stood alone by the window.
Melissa walked over and silently accompanied him beside him without saying a word.
The two stayed like this for a long, long time
Mrs. Gibson didnât believe, couldnât believe that Murray would cut her off. When she noticed that her
credit cards had been closed, she realized Murray had been serious. Soon just buying basic things was
a luxury.
Then, she had no money left to pay for the room that she was staying in. Mrs. Gibson angrily packed
her things, cursing Murray, not knowing where she was going to go.
And outside the window, one of Murrayâs employees reported on Mrs. Gibsonâs situation.
âMr. Gibson, your mother has already started to pack her things, she should be going home.â
Murray wasnât worried at all, and opened his drawer to find a file bag.
âYou let her clean up slowly, donât worry about it.â
And this file bag contains, all Mrs. Gibsonâs visas, passports, ID cards, and so on.
Murray would have brought these things back, otherwise he would not have been so calm.
See what Mrs. Gibson will do this time with nothing.
Mrs. Gibson has rummaged through the house and couldnât find his passport and visa.
These two things seem to have just vanished out of thin air.
