Chapter 897
Mrs. Gibson, Your Identily Is Exposed
Chapter 897 Conditions
Arno saw that Vivian could be so optimistic, and he was happy. After all, there were not many girls who
could choose to work hard outside and he could confidently say Vivianâs spirit was very rare.
Whatâs more, if Vivian gave up her hard work in the future, then it would be true that Arno and her have
no future. He knew how clever his parents were and knew he couldnât be with Vivian until he met the
terms of their pact. All he needed to do was work hard for their future with Vivian!
After Arno and Vivian discussed the future, the two decided to go on a little drive.
âWhere do you wanna go?â Arno asked Vivian, sitting in the main driverâs seat.
Vivian thought about it. There were a lot of nice spots in the city but she didnât have any particular place
in mind.
âCould you recommend? Iâm out of ideas,â Vivian replied.
The truth was Arno had no place in mind as well. He was usually very busy with work and had almost
no personal time of his own, therefore he barely knew the popular spots where one could hang out.
At this time, an idea suddenly occurred in Vivianâs mind. All she had to do now was to make Sileas
understand that it wasnât nice to interfere with her relationship with Arno, otherwise, her actions would
cause trouble. After the matter was settled, then they could go for a drive to any spot they wished.
âThen letâs go to your house first,â Vivian said, catching Arno off guard.
Arno didnât expect Vivian to think about going to his own home. But after thinking about it, he knew
what was going on in Vivianâs mind.
âI know what youâre thinking but I think my mother is unlikely to agree with you,â Arno advised Vivian.
Vivian smiled and said: âIf I didnât think it through, I wouldnât have made the suggestion.â
Arno raised his hands in surrender. Although Vivian had no physical strength, he knew her to be very
cautious in her dealings, whether it is in business or her own life. If she was not certain about the
outcome of an action, she would not go into it.
âMy mother may speak harshly to you, I must warn you. But if you canât take it anymore, I can step in
and speak for you,â Arno turned to warn Vivian along the way.
If Vivian went to see a king, Arno would have to worry at all, but this was Sileas whose temper could
prove to be bad at times. Arno could only try to keep the two of them from fighting each other while
negotiating the terms.
Sighing, Arno looked back at Vivian. Vivianâs hands were clenched on her knees and beads of sweat
could be seen on her forehead.
Arno chuckled.
âI thought you were not afraid. I didnât expect my mother to see you this terrified,â he joked.
He just said this to ease the tense atmosphere in the car. It was not surprising to him that Vivian was
nervous. Anyone meeting Sileas would be freaking out, talk more of Vivian who was her unloved
daughter-in-law.
Vivian ignored Arnoâs words and just gave Arno a threatening look.
Seeing that Vivian ignored him, Arno continued. âIn case a fight or an incident occurs, you can just
slam the door and leave, and I will take care of you after. I guess you have to take a taxi back home.â
Vivian nodded.
Afterwards, Arno picked up his phone and told Sileas that he would bring Vivian back home so they
could have a discussion.
Sileasâs attitude was a little abnormal. She didnât say much, but simply muttered an âI know.â Her
reaction left Arno puzzled.
Vivian noticed his reaction.
âWhatâs wrong?â she asked, concerned.
Arno sighed. âAh, itâs nothing, I just told my mother that Iâm bringing you home.â
What did she say?â Vivian asked curiously.
Even though she didnât like Sileas, she knew that when she and
Arno were married, she wouldnât be able to avoid the older lady for the rest of her life.
âMy mother didnât say anything,â Arno said, interrupting her thoughts. âShe told me that she had already
known I was coming and she didnât say anything else,â Arno replied.
When Vivian heard it, this was different from Sileasâs previous attitude. If Sileas knew that she was
going to her house, he would be furious and refuse to let Arno bring her into the house.
âJust to be clear, your mother canât kill me, right?â asked Vivian.
Arno nodded, chuckling softly.
âThe two chatted happily as they walked to the door of Arnoâs house.
âTheyâre back.â Sileas exclaimed with a smile. She had been already at the door waiting for the two to
come back.
Vivian was stunned as she did not expect Sileas to be so gentle and caring.
âMrs. Sileas, Iâm here to talk to you,â Vivian began to state her purpose as soon as she and Arno were
offered a seat. âIâm guessing you also know about me and Arno, right?â
Sileas nodded, waiting for Vivian to continue.
âLook, the two of us have to satisfy you no matter what.â
Although it was a bit, what Vivian said was right. No matter how good the relationship between the two
was, at least the parents of both parties should be satisfied, right?
Sileas smiled.
âThis is very simple. If you want to have my son all to yourself, you can. But there are some laid down
conditions you have to adhere to.â
