With that, Melissa hung up the phone.

On the other end of the phone, Claire Gibson felt very

uncomfortable. If Melissa didn’t come, wouldn’t it be too stressful for her?

this?” Arno said, standing between them.

Claire Gibson looked at Arno angrily.

“it’s all her fault!” After saying that, she turned and left.

Arno froze in place, not knowing what was going on. He turned his head to look at Vivian for a reply,

but she had already returned to the house. Arno wanted to go into the house as well, but Melissa soon

came out.

“What are you doing here?” Melissa’s voice asked coldly.

Arno smiled embarrassedly.

“I came to see Vivian.”

Arno knew in his heart that since Vivian had hidden in Melissa’s house, he would tell Melissa what

happened between him and Vivian, so she could help them reconcile. But seeing her attitude now, he

“Go and think about what you’ve done and then you can come and find Vivian again.”

After speaking, Melissa waved her hand and motioned for Arno to leave. But Arno stood his ground. He

had finally found Vivian, how could he leave so easily?

“Just give me ten minutes with her, let me explain myself! Are ten minutes too much?” Arno begged.

Melissa mouthed a yes.

Arno sighed. If there was one thing he knew about Melissa, as long as she didn’t agree with things, she

wouldn’t let you do it no matter how you plead. He turned and was just about to leave when he saw that

Vivian’s parents also came to Vivian. His face brightened up as an idea came to his mind.

Vivian’s parents must have known that Arno and Vivian were having an affair, so they came to Vivian.

Since Vivian’s parents were also on Arno’s side, Arno believed he had a chance to see her. Even

though her sadness was his fault, at least he deserved to be given a chance to explain himself.

Vivian’s parents saw Arno standing at the door, they understood what was going on. Her mother

walked over to Arno and patted Arno on the shoulder.

“Don’t worry, I’ll talk to Vivian for you.”

After speaking, she walked into the room.

Melissa, who was originally in the house, turned to scold Arno as she heard footsteps approaching, but

when she saw that it was Vivian’s parents, she didn’t know what to say for a while.

“Vivian, your dad and I are here.” Mother Liu announced, smiling at Melissa, before going in search of

her daughter.

“Mrs. Timothy, I’ll go and call you Vivian,” Melissa said when she saw that she had no choice but to go

back and find Vivian.

Vivian also heard her parents and without hesitation, followed Melissa out.

“Vivian, if you give Arno a chance to explain, you’ll understand what happened,” Her mother said

immediately as she saw Vivian.

Vivian hesitated for a while. She knew it was the right thing to do but she didn’t want to see Arno when

she thought about what had happened at the hotel.

“There are not many men like Arno now. You have to cherish him,” Liu’s mother continued to say to

Vivian.

Vivian looked at her and nodded slightly. She then let Arno in. Arno immediately knew her change of

heart could be accredited to her parents, so he smiled at the two elders beside him.

“Vivian, I know I was wrong, and I promise you that I will never treat you like that again. Please give me

another chance.” There was so much sincerity in Arno’s voice.

Melissa knew in her heart that Arno couldn’t be blamed for the previous incident. Arno’s family was to

blame. She formulated a plan in her mind to deal with them.

Soon, the matter between Arno and Vivian was also discussed, and the two were reconciled. Vivian’s

parents were ready to leave, after all, the matter they came for had been resolved. Just as they were

about to leave, Melissa stopped them.

“Mr. Timothy, Mrs. Timothy, can I speak to you for a moment?”

Vivian’s parents looked at Melissa puzzled. From her tone, they judged that whatever Melissa had to

say must not be heard by Arno and Vivian so the two of them followed Melissa inside one of the rooms.

“Mr. Timothy, Mrs. Timothy, I think Arno is a good person from all aspects, and Vivian is also very

suitable, but there is only one thing that I think needs to be changed. That is Arno’s parents. The more

they interfere with Arno’s private life, then even if Arno and Vivian are together, there will be no peace.”

When Vivian’s parents pondered on her words, they felt that it was indeed reasonable.

“Let’s go to them today, talk about it, and then we can solve it in the future.”

After finishing speaking, Melissa turned around and prepared to take Vivian’s parents to find the Dewar

family’s parents.

Arno knew what Melissa was thinking, so he didn’t bother to ask. He just smiled while Vivian stood

beside him in bewilderment.
