Chapter 900 It’s too much

Soon, Melissa came to the Dewar family with Vivian’s parents. After knocking on the door, Sileas came

and opened up.

As soon as she saw that it was Melissa, and that brought Vivian’s parents over, she was a little

surprised for a while, but let them in and offered them seats.

“I think you may have wronged Vivian,” Melissa began calmly.

Sileas smiled and said nothing.

“Well, let’s sign an agreement and promise not to interfere in Vivian’s private life in the future, okay?”

Hearing the proposal, Sileas then called Father Kim out. Arno’s father did not show any dissatisfaction

after he understood what he was there for, and did as Melissa said. Vivian’s parents also agreed with

this approach.

But Melissa felt more and more strange about the behaviour of the Dewar family’s parents. From the

way they cooperated without hesitation, Melissa couldn’t pick out a single mistake, and she was even a

little curious as to whether the people in front of her were sincere.

“Since everyone is now peaceful, I think I need to go,” Melissa stood up and was about to leave. After

all, it was not a good thing to be involved too much in other people’s family affairs.

But Vivian followed her out the door. “Melissa, wait a minute.”

“What else are you worried about?” Melissa said, holding her hand.

Vivian sighed. She knew there was no need to worry. Arno’s parents may have been wicked in times

immediately got up and asked, “What else are you worried about?”

think that since the two of them have finally reunited, they should be given more personal space.”

Vivian’s mother was also enthralled by this idea.

“The children are all grown up, and they should have their own space. Not to mention that they are so

busy with work that it is not good to come over to disturb you often.”

“That won’t work. Arno is my son and I’m still counting on him to provide for us in our old age. There’s

enough space here, isn’t the room big enough for the two of them?” Sileas immediately disagreed, the

smile disappearing from her face.

Silence reigned and they all sat in their various positions staring at each other until Melissa was willing

to break the silence.

“You are not that old, Mrs. Sileas and you still have a lot of years to live. They have finally reconciled,

so why should you restrict them from having their own personal space,” Melissa still had a smile,

suppressing her anger.

“Mom and dad, I want to move out and live with Vivian!” Arno took his stand, much to Vivian’s relief.

Melissa smiled.

“It’s impossible, don’t even think about it. You are my son and must live in this house!” Sileas snapped.

Arno’s expression changed. “Mom, why are you doing this!”

“Melissa, I respect you. But don’t forget that you have no right meddle in our family’s affairs! We also

agreed to sign the agreement, but now you are making another suggestion which I can’t tell if these are

Vivian’s ideas or yours. Where do you get so many stupid ideas?” Sileas scolded Melissa.

“What are you talking about? I asked Melissa for help. You have no right to speak rudely to her!” Vivian

said, standing in front of Melissa to defend her.

Even Arno defended Melissa by saying, “Mom, don’t speak to her like that!”

Melissa sighed softly and touched the child in her stomach. She

knew she didn’t need to be so violent so she put on a fake smile and

turned to Sileas.

“Are you blaming me for being meddlesome?”

Sileas scoffed. “Must I answer that? You know yourself.”

This completely annoyed Melissa.

“Okay, since it’s your Dewar family’s business, then I won’t have a say in it anymore. After all, I’m an

outsider and I don’t have any right to do that, right?”

Melissa said the last part rhetorically. Noticing her change in countenance, Arno and Vivian both

stepped forward and held her hands.

“Don’t stress yourself too much, Melissa,” Vivian advised. “Be careful of the child in your belly!”

Melissa smiled and waved, “It’s okay!”

The Swanson family’s parents just sat aside and watched the excitement.

“In that case, I find the Dewar family to be so ignorant, and I also

see that you guys lack respect. How can I trust my entertainer in your hands?” Melissa turned to Vivian.

“Let’s go back to my place, you are worth way more than this family!”

Saying that she pulled Vivian away.

wife’s friend?” His eyes swept to Sileas.

Sileas was so frightened by him that she froze where she sat, too scared to move or even speak.

Murray came over and put his arms around Melissa’s shoulders.

parents.

“Vivian is the entertainer of our company, which means she is like

family to me. Naturally, she asked her boss to come out and help solve this dispute. But instead of you

appreciating and listening to her, you look down on her. Today I am being lenient, but next time, don’t

blame me for being ruthless.” Murray left with his arms around Melissa.
