14. Apology?
MY BROTHER IN LAW ( BL)
YUVRAAJ SINGHANIA'S POV
I am seething with rage as I storm into the room where Ilya is waiting. My bodyguard, my trusted ally, has betrayed me in the worst possible way. He's gotten my sister pregnant, and I can feel my anger boiling over.
But just as I'm about to unleash my fury on Ilya, my sister Inayat steps in, her hands on my arms. "Yuvraaj, stop! Don't hurt him."
I shake her off, my eyes blazing with anger. "You don't understand, Inayat. He's betrayed me, betrayed our family."
Inayat stands firm, her voice calm and soothing. "Yuvraaj, listen to me. Ilya doesn't know about the pregnancy either."
I pause, my anger momentarily halted. Ilya's expression confirms Inayat's words - he looks stunned, disbelieving.
"Inayat, is this true?" Ilya demand, turning to my sister.
She nods, tears streaming down her face. "Yes! Ilya, you are the father."
I see Ilya's face light up with a huge smile, one that I haven't seen in over 10 years. It's a smile that reaches his eyes, and for a moment, I'm taken aback.
But then, I see him hug Inayat tightly, and I realize that he's celebrating the fact that he's going to be a father. My anger surges again, trying to process this new development.
How dare he lie his filthy hand on my sister again!
I pulled him away from Inayat and unleash my fury on Ilya, my fists flying as I pummel him mercilessly. Inayat's pleas fall on deaf ears as I vent my anger and betrayal on the man who got my sister pregnant.
Ilya tries to defend himself, but I'm relentless, my punches and kicks landing with precision and force. He crashes to the floor, but I don't stop, my anger and hurt fueling my assault.
Inayat rushes to intervene, grabbing my arms and trying to pull me away. "Yuvraaj, stop! Please, you're going to kill him!"
But I shake her off, my vision blurred by rage. "He deserves to die," I snarl, landing another kick.
Raj joins Inayat, both of them trying to restrain me, but I'm too strong, too consumed by my anger. Ilya's face is a bloody mess, but I don't care. He's destroyed my family's honor, and now he'll pay the price.
Just when I think I've exhausted my rage, I hear a voice. "Yuvraaj, please."
I turn to see Raj, my bestfriend.
"He'll die."
Raj is right, if this goes on he will surely die.
I finally stop my assault on Ilya, my chest heaving with exhaustion and anger. Inayat's pleas and tears have finally penetrated my rage, and I stand up, my eyes still blazing with fury.
Ilya lies motionless on the floor, his face a bloody mess. I turn to Inayat, my voice cold and menacing. "Get him out of my sight. Now."
Inayat nods, tears streaming down her face as she helps Ilya to his feet and supports him out of the room.
I'm left standing alone, my anger and hurt still simmering just below the surface. I know this isn't over. Ilya will pay for his betrayal, and I'll make sure of it.
As I turn to leave, I hear a faint noise behind me. I turn to see Ilya, his eyes locked on mine, a hint of defiance in his gaze. I smile, a cold, calculated smile. "This isn't over," I mouth, before turning and walking away.
IÂ felt a pang of guilt and regret as I think about Ayaan, the man Inayat had claimed was the father of her child. I remember how I had beaten him up, mercilessly, without giving him a chance to explain.
Now, knowing that Ilya is the real father, I realize that Ayaan was an innocent victim of my rage. I think about how he must have felt, being accused and beaten for something he didn't do.
I feel a wave of shame wash over me as I remember his battered face, his pleas for mercy. I had been so blind, so consumed by my anger and sense of betrayal.
I take a deep breath, trying to process my emotions. I know I need to make things right with Ayaan, to apologize and try to make amends. But for now, I just nod, feeling a sense of regret and sorrow for my actions.

I am walking into the college campus, my presence commanding attention. My men follow closely behind, their eyes scanning the surroundings. I spot Ayaan sitting on a bench, and I stride towards him, my expression stern.
Ayaan looks up, his eyes widening as he takes in my entourage. I nod at my men, and they form a semi-circle around us, blocking out the rest of the world.
"Ayaan," I say, my voice low and even. "We need to talk."
Ayaan swallows hard, but he doesn't back down. "What do you want, Yuvraaj?"
I take a seat next to him, my eyes locked on his. "I know the truth now. Ilya's the father, not you."
Ayaan's expression changes from fear to confusion. "What does that have to do with me?"
I lean in, my voice taking on a menacing tone. "You were caught in the crossfire, Ayaan. But I'm willing to let bygones be bygones this time."
Ayaan's expression changes from fear to anger, his eyes flashing with resentment. "You think you can just waltz in here, apologize, and everything's okay?" he spits out, his voice venomous. "You took something from me, Yuvraaj. Something I can never get back."
I raise an eyebrow, taken aback by his sudden defiance. "What are you talking about?"
Ayaan's face twists in anger. "You took my kiss, Yuvraaj. You forced me to kiss you, and now you're apologizing like it means nothing?"
I remember the incident, how I had kissed him in a moment of rage and possessiveness. I hadn't thought about how he would feel, only my own anger and hurt.
Ayaan's words strike a chord, and for a moment, I feel a pang of regret. But I push it aside, my expression hardening. "That was just a kiss, Ayaan. Don't make it into something it's not."
Ayaan's laughter is bitter. "Just a kiss? You have no idea what that meant to me. And now you're here, apologizing like it's nothing?"
I stand up, my men moving closer, sensing the tension. "Ayaan, I said I am sorry. What more do you want?"
Ayaan's eyes blaze with anger. "I want you to know that you can't just take things from people and apologize later. Some things can't be taken back."
