Chapter 1131
The Substitute Wife: My Poor Husband Is A Billionaire
Chapter 1131 Take Hannah To The W Marks Studio
After a short pause, Janet said, âI thought that was just your excuse to bring Hannah over.
âI admire your work and would like you to make some clothes for Hannah. Your designs, of course.â
Brandon put down the sandwich and wiped his lips with a napkin.
When Janet thought of the price, she said, âThe price you offered is insane. I donât deserve that much.â

Raising his eyebrows, Brandon said, âYour designs are priceless, and this is your first project as an
independent designer. I actually think the price is reasonable.â
The price an independent designer set for their first order was very important. It would inform future
clients how they should value Janetâs work.
Biting her lip, Janet chuckled and said, âIf the public knows that you offered this price to me, they will
only believe that Iâm supported by my husband. Not that my designs are worth the money.â
Brandon had anticipated this argument. âBut the order will be anonymous. And I am not offering blind
support. I will pay the balance only when Hannah is satisfied. Do you think you can make it? Or were
you overstating your abilities?â
The corners of Janetâs mouth twitched Brandon was very cunning. He offered her an irresistible price
and dared her to refuse, knowing she would want to prove her ability. âHannah, tell me what styles of
clothes you want after dinner,â Janet said, smiling.
âYouâre designing clothes for me?â Hannah hadnât been following Janet and Brandonâs discussion. Did
Janet plan to design clothes for her?
Hannah waved her hand. âNo, no. Iâm an old woman. I donât need new clothes. My old clothes are fine.
You donât need to design clothes for me. Janet, you are a famous designer, and Iâm a rural person. I
wouldnât know what to do with such a wardrobe.â
Janet laughed. âCanât rural people wear high-end customized clothes?â With a shrewd look in her eyes,
she added, âWe are close. Even if you werenât my client, it would be natural for me to design clothes
that suit you.â
Hannah put down her breakfast, held her arms and shrank her body. She pursed her lips and said,
âYour designs are expensive and gorgeous. Even if you made them for me, I would be afraid to wear
them Besides, I would never have an occasion to wear them It would be too ostentatious for me to
dress expensively at my friendsâ houses in the countryside.â
âBrandon said that he would find servants for you, and I can make sure my designs are practical and
easy to wear even in the village You could wear them around your house.
Hey, I have an idea. Why donât you come to the W Marks Studio with me today? Didnât you tell me you
wanted to see my workplace?â
Janet planned to make the other designers at W Marks help her convince Hannah.
It was an hourâs drive from Malus Bay to the W Marks Studio.
When they arrived, Janet helped Hannah out of the car. âBe careful of the steps.â
Looking at the white, high-end building and the gorgeous furnishings outside, Hannah said, âIt s so
beautiful here!â
âThere are only two floors inside, and itâs just a modest studio, but Mr. Wesley wanted it to look great
for prospective customers and hired craftsmen to decorate it a few months ago.â
Compared with the high-profile and luxurious decoration at the Larson Groupâs building, the studio was
rather simple in design.
âIf itâs just been decorated, perhaps I shouldnât go in.â The most high-end places Hannah had
frequented were the villas of her employers when she worked as maid before. The stylish building
intimidated her. She feared she might spoil it if she stepped inside.
Although, she knew Janet was a designer, she hadnât known she was working at such an exclusive
studio.
Even her own son had never taken her to any upscale places before.
Janetâs eyes softened. âI work here. You can go in whenever you want.â
Hannahâs palms were sweating. âNo, I canât. I am a simple woman. I will make a fool of myself if I go
in.â
Hannah avoided eye contact with everyone around. She was sure that people were looking at her
strangely, and she became more flustered âLetâs go back. We can do this in your villa.â
Janet felt distressed. She was about to say something when they were interrupted by a familiar voice.
âGood morning, Janet.â Elizabeth walked toward them with a cup of coffee in her hand.
