Chapter 80
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)
Chapter 80
BLAIRE
Given what happened back in the mansion, I know it wasn't a smart
move for me
to
go alone. However, as time passes, Blazeâs condition becomes more
dangerous. It hasn't been long since he got out of surgery, and I'm sure
there's no one there who knows how to take care of his condition.
In the end, I decided to give Sebastian a call. I dialed his number, and
after a few rings, he answered.
âWhere the hell are you, Blaire? You'll be the death of me! Blaze has
been missing, and now you! Do you have any idea how worried I was?â
He blabbers continuously.
âI'm fine, Sebastian,â I assure him, though the tension in my voice
betrays my calm facade.
âI'm not! My son is missing, and I have no idea where the hell you are!
Tell me your location, and I'll pick you up,â he demands, his worry
evident in his tone.
For a moment, I weigh my options, knowing that what I'm about to say
will only worry
him further. But I can't afford to waste any more time. Taking a deep
breath, I steel myself for his reaction.
âI'm on my way there now. I'll meet you up at the location,â I reply, my
voice steady despite the tumult of emotions swirling within me.
âAre you out of your mind, Blaire? Have you seen what those men did
to our guards? You're going to get yourself killed!â Sebastian's voice
rises with frustration; his concern for my safety is palpable even
through the phone. But I've made up my mind, and nothing he says can
sway me from my course of action.
âStaying still and doing nothing to find my son will eventually kill me as
well. It's a matter of choosing which death I'm more comfortable with,â I
responded, my voice firm with resolve.
âBlaire, I'm begging you. Don't act too harshly. Wait for me. We'll go
there together,â Sebastian insisted, his desperation palpable.
âI'm sorry, Sebastian. I canât wait for you. I'll send you the details. I'll
meet you up there,â I replied, knowing that every second counted in the
race to find Blaze.

âBlaire, don't be stu pid!" Sebastian's voice rang out in frustration, but I
couldn't let his concerns sway me. My mind was made up, and I was
determined to do whatever it took to bring my son home.
Ignoring Sebastian's protests, I ended the call, my resolve unwavering
in the face of his pleas. I was determined to find my son, no matter
what obstacles lay in my path.
As soon as I hung up the phone, my heart pounding with anticipation,
another call came through from an unknown number. With trembling
hands, I answered the call, my breath catching in my throat.
âHello, my dear sister. You took your time before you made a move. I've
been waiting for a long time to call you,â came the voice on the other
end of the line.
The blood drained from my face as I recognized the familiar, chilling
tone. My whole body went cold at the sound of that awful voice,
sending shivers down my spine.
âIt seems like our father gave me up. So, should I expect your presence
here any minute now?" she continued.
âWhere the hell is my son, Catherine?â I demanded, trying to muster
the courage in my voice despite the fear coursing through me.
âWhat, no pleasantries? I'm wounded, dear sister,â she said mockingly.
âWhat do you want, Catherine? My son has nothing to do with this!â I
raised my voice in frustration.
âOn the contrary, your son is the main reason why we're here, dear
sister. If it wasn't for him, Sebastian would never want to divorce me.â
Catherine's voice rang out, filled with venom and resentment.
âStop being delusional, Catherine. Sebastian has been trying to divorce
you even before he knew about Blaze. Stop putting the blame on my
son. It wasn't his fault that you couldn't keep your husband by your
side!â I shot back, my own voice tinged with frustration and anger.
She scoffed, her tone dripping with disdain. âFeisty as ever, I see?
Hmmm... what should I do with your innocent child?â she mused, her
words carrying a subtle warning.

âNo, no, no! Please! Donât hurt my son. I'll do everything you want; just
please spare my son,â I pleaded, desperation creeping into my voice.
âNow we're dancing to a different tune, dear sister. That's more like it,â
she replied, her voice cold and calculating.
As fear gripped my heart, I realized the gravity of the situation.
Catherine held all the
power, and my son's life hung in the balance. I had to tread carefully if I
wanted to protect him.
âWhat do you want from me, Catherine?â I asked, my voice trembling
with fear and uncertainty.
Her laughter echoed through the phone, sending a chill down my spine.
âOh, Blaire, it's simple. I want revenge. And I'll stop at nothing until I get
it,â she declared, her words dripping with malice.
My mind raced as I tried to come up with a plan, but I knew I was
running out of time. I had to find a way to outsmart Catherine and save
my son before it was too late. But with her unpredictable nature and
thirst for vengeance, I knew the odds were stacked against me.
âIf you want us gone, we'll go. We'll leave right away. We'll vanish if
that's what need. Just give me back, my son,â I begged desperately.
âI'm not naive, Blaire. Sebastian can track you down,â she said firmly.
âThen what is it you're after, Catherine?â
you
âI'll provide you with a different address. Don't even think about
contacting Sebastian. Trust me, I'll find out. And if you dare to defy me,
your son will suffer the consequences, understand?â
âYes, I'll obey your every command. Please, just spare my son,â I
stammered.
âGood. I'll send you the instructions right after this call.â
With a heavy heart, I reluctantly agreed to Catherine's demands,
knowing that my compliance was the only hope for my son's safety. As I
awaited her instructions, a sense of dread settled over me, the weight
of the situation bearing down on my shoulders.
As Catherine disconnected the call, leaving me with a chilling sense of
foreboding,

I braced myself for the challenges ahead. With each passing moment,
the urgency of the situation intensified, driving me to act swiftly and
decisively to protect my son at all costs.
I remained on edge, and my senses heightened with anticipation. Every
sound, every movement outside the window, sent a jolt of adrenaline
coursing through my veins as I waited anxiously for Catherine's next
move.
Finally, a notification chimed on my phone, signaling the arrival of a
new message. With trembling hands, I unlocked the screen to find
detailed instructions from Catherine outlining the next steps I needed to
take.
âTo Chelsea Pier, please,â I told the driver as soon as I read Catherine's
instruction.
