Chapter 9
Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)
Chapter 9
BLAIRE
I was jolted awake when I heard a loud voice. I rubbed my eyes as I
tried to get a hold of what was going on. I looked around my
surroundings, and it slowly dawned on me where I was. I almost forgot
that I locked myself inside the walk-in closet and spent the night here. I
badly wanted to get away from Sebastian, and I'd rather stay here on
this uncomfortable couch than sleep in that king-size bed.
âWhat do you mean you didnât see any sign of her? Have you checked
all the CCTV?" He stayed silent for a minute before yelling again.
âThen, how the hell did she manage to leave? What is she, a ghost?â
he said
sarcastically. âTell everyone that no one is allowed to rest until you find
her. If you don't, it will be your head!â he threatened.
I glanced at the clock and noticed that it was only five in the morning. I
have been missing all night, and he only noticed it this morning?
I hissed, âI'm guessing he just returned. That's the only possible
reason. why he only noticed it then.â I grabbed my robe and put it on. I
wanted to let him go crazy around looking for me for a little longer, but
then I remembered that I needed to go back to the hospital to check on
my
father.
I walk to the door and open it. Sebastian quickly shifted his gaze tow
me when he heard the creaking of the door. I looked at him with lazy It
didn't fail my eyes when he dropped his jaw when he finally realized
that I had been hiding in the closet the whole time.
âNevermind. She's here,â he said to the person he was talking to on the
other line before hanging up the phone. âHave you been here all
night?â he asked before quickly taking the distance between us until our
faces were inches away from each other.
Unlike yesterday, I'm completely in my senses now. I'm aware that I
shouldn't put myself in a compromising position whenever Sebastian is
around. So without second thought, I immediately moved away and put
distance between them.

Chapter 9
âYes, I have spent the whole night inside the closet, yet you only notice
it now. I wonder why it is, Sebastian.âl asked him sarcastically, despite
knowing exactly the reason why he hadn't noticed it until now. It's
because he clearly spent the whole night with Catherine.
âCatherine is in no good state right now.â
âI believe I have to stop you right there. I don't care whatever the hell it
is that you did with her last night. I have no interest at all. Why do you
think I asked for divorce in the first place? You can spend the whole
week with her, and I wouldn't care. Just sign-the papers, and I'll be out
of your hair,â I said, shrugging my shoulders as if it weren't a big thing.
He remained silent. I get a chance to stare at him for a little while. I
noticed his tossled hair, the dark circle under his eyes, and his
loosened. tie. He looks like he aged overnight. He looked so stressed.
That will never happen, Blaire,â he answered coldly, with the same
iciness. in his eyes. He has always been serious, but I've never seen
him like this. It was like a totally different side of him that I had never
known before..
I was about to say something when I heard a knock coming from the
door. I rolled my eyes when I heard it.
âSebastian, are you up?â said Catherine from the other side of the door,
âYour girlfriend is looking for you, Sebastian,â I said before turning my
back on him and walking straight to the bathroom. I have a lot more.
things to deal with today than waste my time with their antics. I'd rather
waste my energy taking care of my father than talking to the two of
them
I can barely hear the sound of their voices inside the bathroom. Though
I'm not really interested in what they're talking about, I couldn't help but
be curious. I tried pressing my ear against the door, but I couldn't hear
anything. After a couple of minutes of trying, I finally gave up. I
eventually focus on taking a bath and preparing myself.
It took me a good amount of time before I finally finished fixing myself. I
blow-dried my hair and put on a little make-up before heading out of the
bathroom. Though I noticed Sebastian sitting on the bed while facing
his laptop, I pretended that I didnât see him. I went straight to the closet.

I went straight to the drawer and ran my hand across the clothes
hanging in the closet. It was too late when I realized that I had left all
my clothes in the other room. I was wearing nothing under my thick
bathrobe. I groaned in frustration. I quickly turned around and went out
of the closet, but I wasn't expecting to bump into a hard and chiseled
chest. My eyes widen when I am facing the familiar chest of Sebastian
Foster. I gulped. when I noticed that he was wearing nothing but a
white towel wrapped around his waist.
I pushed him as hard as I could the moment I got back to my senses.
âWhat are you doing here? Get out of my way,â I grunted before rolling
my eyes at him.
âNow, I'm not allowed to enter my own closet,â he asked sarcastically.
âIf you didnât insist that I share a room with you, we wouldn't be in this
kind of situation,â I replied, raising my eyebrow.
He just smirked. âWhat's mine is yours. It doesnât make sense for us to
use a different room,â he said to justify his decision.
âWhatever,â I replied before walking out of the closet. I hadn't even
reached the door when I heard his voice again.
âWhere do you think you're going?â he asked.
âI'm going to get my stuff, obviously.â
âWearing that?" he said, frowning as he looked at me from head to toe.
âYou donât expect me to wear my night gown going out, do you?â
He growled inwardly, âStay here. I'll get it."
So, he can go to Catherine's room again? I donât think so.
âYou can't get enough of my sister, can you? You'll get every chance
you get to go into her room,â I said before even thinking that I sound
like a jealous. wife.
But you are, said the tiny voice inside at the back of my head,

âWhen are you going to stop with this nonsense? I went to see
Catherine as a good friend.â He was exasperated.
I just shrugged my shoulders, staring straight into his eyes as I raised
my eyebrow. I was looking at him intently, as if I were challenging him.
In the end, he blew a loud breath in resignation. He looked away and
walked toward the phone. I was watching him closely, wondering what
he was planning to do next.
âCandice, bring all Blaire's stuff into our room,â he said before hanging
up the phone. âBetter?â he said when he shifted his attention towards
me.
Instead of answering, I responded by rolling my eyes at him. And
before I knew it, I found him standing in front of me in a blink of an eye.
âWhat theâ-h-how did you get here so fast?â I said it in surprise. I
automatically took a step back.
âDidn't I warn you about rolling your eyes at me?" He said almost a
whisper as he continued to take a step forward, slowly closing the
distance between us.
âI donât remember anything.â I denied while my voice started to tremble.
âCome here; I'll make you remember,â he said before grabbing my
waist. and pulling me tightly, imprisoning me in his strong arms.
I hitched my breath when our faces were only inches away from each.
other. My heart raced when I felt his warm and minty breath brushing
against my face. To make matters worse, the thick fabric of my
bathrobe was not enough to stop my b*dy from feeling the warmth
radiating from his b*dy. It didnât help that I wasn't wearing anything
underneath. Being this close to him was enough to set my b*dy on fire.
I started to panic when he slowly started untying the knot of my
bathrobe. Lust was starting to take over my system. I'm already on the
verge of giving into my desire.
âDo you remember it now?â he whispered, maintaining the close
distance. between our lips but not letting it touch.

My mouth feels dry, and I lost track of how many times I gulped just to
ease my sudden thirst. I tried to open my lips, but no words came out of
my mouth. Instead, I nod my head in response.
âSay it,â he said seductively. âI want to hear you say it.â
I feel like I was hynoptized, doing everything according to his bidding. I
just found myself following his every bidding. âYou're going to make me
scream in pleasure if I roll my eyes at you again.â
âIt wasn't a warning, Blaire. It's a promise. And I...donât break any
promise,â he said before claiming my lips without a warning.
No! This isn't right. That's what I have been shouting inside my head.
But my b*dy betrays me as if it has a master of its own. And thatâs none
other than Sebastian. He owns every fiber of my being, and no matter
how much I try to deny the desire that I have for him, it will eventually
find a way to expose itself.

But I needed to be stronger than my desire. I can't let him have his with
me whenever he wants to. I'm not one of his toys to play with. I gather
all my strength in my b*dy to get away from his grasp, but heâs too
strong. No matter how hard I pushed, he wouldn't budge. He continued
to k*ss me passionately. He slid his tongue inside my mouth and
taunted me with it. I had no idea how long I would be able to withstand
it before desire took over my whole b*dy.
Just when I was about to lose control, his phone started ringing, bre all
the spells that surround us. We were both catching our breath whe
finally let go of my lips. When I realized what just happened, I quickly
pushed him away. This time, he willingly took a step back, putting some
distance between us.
I couldn't look him in the eye after what happened. I canât believe I
allowed myself to be swayed by his k*ss again. I'm a hopeless case
when it comes to his advances. I feel like a moth drawn to a fire. I know
it will kill me, but I donât give a da mn.
To save myself from embarrassment, I ran back to the walk-in closet
and locked myself in. I don't think I can stand being in the same room

him right after what happened.
âBlaire...â he called my name on the other side of the door, but I
remained. silent. I let out a sigh of relief when I heard his footsteps as
he walk away from the door.
