Chapter 1103 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âHuh?â Cadenâs sudden awakening stunned everyone in the room, especially Vivian. She shook her head in disbelief. âHeâs awake! My dad is awake!â Sheila cheered.
âHe actually woke up? Is that punkâs medical skill so amazing?â The group exchanged bewildered glances. They were shocked. Even Rudolph couldnât find a cure for Cadenâs illness, but Dustin had healed him.
âVivian, any comment? Do you agree now that Dustinâs abilities are amazing? Sheila asked proudly. âUmâ¦â Vivian blushed in embarrassment. She had just made a bold statement and was now proven wrong.
âWhatâs going on? Why am I here?â Caden, looking confused and in discomfort, tried to sit up despite the pain.
âDad, you were in a very serious condition, and Dustin saved you!â Sheila explained. Caden furrowed his brow. âDustin saved me? How is that possible?â
âItâs true!â Sheila insisted. âWithout him, you might not have survived.â
âIt canât be,â Caden mused after thinking it over. âIf Mr. Saunders couldnât heal me, thereâs no way Dustin could. I doubt heâs that talented!â
He had never liked Dustin and suspected a conspiracy. âDad, itâs true. Why canât you believe it? âSheila was frustrated with her fatherâs skepticism.
âPeople can be unpredictable, and we shouldnât judge based solely on appearances. Iâve been doing martial arts since I was a child, and Iâve always been healthy. So, how did I suddenly become so ill?â Caden asserted.
He continued, âHeâs got to be behind this! First, he drugged me, then showed up like some hero to save the day. Next thing you know, heâs our familyâs savior and uses that to climb the social ladder. That kid is definitely up to no good!â
At the end of his explanation, Caden was furious. He and Dustin had a big argument the day before, and now he suspected Dustinâs involvement.
âDad! Why are you saying that? Dustin is not that kind of person!â Sheila defended.
âI agree with Uncle Caden,â Jayden said, sounding serious. âWe shouldnât underestimate someone like Dustin. He might have planned this whole situation.â
âExactly! Everything adds up. Dustin intentionally drugged Uncle Caden and then faked a rescue to become famous. Heâs so despicable!â Vivian said angrily.
âYeah! What he did is inexcusable!â
âWe must get rid of Dustin!â
Everyone joined in to show their anger. Under Cadenâs influence, Dustin, the person who had rescued him, was now seen as an outcast.
