Chapter 1107 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âBastard!â The red-robed warrior couldnât control his anger and drew his sword.
âMr. Rhys, thereâs a saying in Dragonmarsh: âDo something at your peril.â Hand over the Cherusia, and Iâll spare both of you. Refuse, and thereâs only one outcome. Death!â Diego threatened Dustin.
âDo you think your group can take me down? Are you that brave?â Dustin taunted. âDonât believe me? Give it a try,â Diego snapped his fingers.
The red-robed warrior dashed toward Dustin with his sword. He roared, âFolks from your Dragonmarsh are nothing but eastern Scoundrels. Today, youâll learn a lesson.
âWhat did you just call us?â Dustinâs face hardened, and he looked ready for a fight. About eighty years ago, Dragonmarsh had just been through a war. The Kimboku people often looked down on Dragonmarsh and called them âeastern scoundrelsâ.
After many years, Dragonmarsh improved and became a stronger country. But the shame from that period remained etched in memory. So, when the red-robed warrior said that derogatory term, Dustin was angry.
âWhatâs the matter? Offended? Your people will always have to show respect to us. Itâs like how dogs listen to their owners. Begging with their tails wagging.â
He continued, âBut I must say, your girlfriend is beautiful. Iâll enjoy her after I kill you. Oh, I think Iâll torture her right in front of you!â The red- robed warrior laughed arrogantly.
Then, the other black-robed warriors around him joined in. They believed they were far superior to Dragonmarshâs martial artists.
âYouâre going to die!â Dustinâs anger flared up, and he charged forward. âDie!â The red-robed warrior yelled. He charged forward and aimed his sword at Dustinâs head.
But to his surprise, the sword shattered upon impact, and Dustin was left unharmed.
âWhat?!â The red-robed warrior was shocked. He never thought a personâs head could be tougher than a sword. Dustin punched the red-robed warriorâs chest before he could react.
