Chapter 1119 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Sheila was surprised by Dustinâs irrational behavior. She never imagined he would become violent over a minor disagreement. At first, she believed he was a good person, but his actions have left her bitter and skeptical.
âMs. Murray, Iâm joking. You have nothing to worry about. Iâll not use violence unless provoked,â he said calmly. Vivian retorted, âHmph! Youâre saying youâre only joking? If Sheila hadnât intervened, things could have turned violent!â
Evan added, âDustin, knowing martial arts doesnât justify reckless behavior. The Murray residence is no place for such conduct!â
âIf someone doesnât annoy me, I donât resort to violence. But if they do, I might. Thatâs my advice, and Iâll give you a break now,â Dustin said coldly.
âSheila, this guy is out of control. You should consider kicking him out before he disrupts the celebration!â Vivian suggested, hoping Sheila would agree.
âVivian is right, Sheila. One troublemaker can ruin the celebration. Today, weâre celebrating General Murrayâs birthday, and many distinguished guests are here. If this guy makes trouble, itâll hurt the Murray familyâs reputation!â Evan added.
âSheila, we need to think about whatâs best for everyone. Kicking this guy out is the right thing to do,â the others agreed, trying to convince her.
âDustin! Youâre not welcome here. I have to ask you to leave!â Sheila said firmly. She agreed with her friends because she didnât want him to ruin the birthday celebration.
âYou want me to go?â Dustin was surprised. Then, he chuckled. âMs. Murray, your friends can say whatever they want, and Iâm just like them-a guest. Is it fair to ask me to leave?â
He always considered Sheila as a sister. Even if she misunderstood him, he was not upset. He believed in mutual respect, even if they couldnât be close friends.
But now, he realized he had been wrong. Sheila seemed determined to stand by her decision, even if it meant turning against him. Dustin had helped her many times before, but now she was asking him to leave.
âI didnât invite you, and youâre not one of our guests. I have the right to ask you to leave!â Sheila insisted stubbornly. âMs. Murray, you didnât invite me, but your grandfather did. If you want me to go, you should check with him,â Dustin calmly replied.
âYou-â
Sheila was irritated. She hadnât expected him to be so bold and wouldnât leave even when she told him to. And he even mentioned her grandfather to intimidate her.
âIgnore him, Sheila. Heâs probably making up stories about knowing General Murray,â Vivian goaded her. Evan added, âSheila, stop wasting your time talking to him. Get someone to escort him out!â
âDustin! If you donât leave now, Iâll have someone throw you out!â Sheila warned angrily.
âSheila, show some respect!â
At that point, Cornelius couldnât hold back any longer and snapped, âMr. Dustin has bailed you out many times. If you donât appreciate that, itâs fine. But is this how the Murrays show their gratitude? By mistreating someone
who has helped them.â âIâ Sheila was speechless.
