Chapter 1121 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âIs this punk looking for trouble?â Caden narrowed his eyes, his expression hostile.
Diego, who was sitting with the other guests, couldnât help but smile mischievously. âWell, this is getting interesting.â
After what had happened last night, he had expected Dustin to run away and hide. But Dustinâs bold appearance at the Murray residence had caught him off guard.
âThe kidâs in trouble now! General Murray has his eye on him. He wonât get away today!â Evan chuckled maliciously.
âHe brought it upon himself! He couldâve left earlier and avoided the whole mess. But no, he chose to stay and become a pain in the ass. He really wants to be in trouble!â Vivian sneered, her face filled with gloating satisfaction. They believed Christopher had learned what had happened to Jayden and wanted revenge.
âGeneral Murray, please accept my well wishes. Iâve some other matters to take care of, so Iâll take my leave,â Dustin said. He bowed courteously and walked away.
âStop!â Evan suddenly lunged forward, blocking Dustinâs path. He shouted, â Hey, punk! You think you can come and go as you please and treat the Murrays like theyâre nothing?â
He shot Christopher a quick glance. This was his chance to put Dustin in his place and win Christopherâs favor. Evan knew he couldnât pass up this opportunity.
Thinking about it, Evan couldnât help but admire his cunning and ability to see through the situation. He believed he was playing it brilliantly.
âHmm?â Evanâs sudden appearance puzzled Christopher. He wondered, âWho is this kid, and whatâs he up to?â
âYou asked me to leave earlier, and now you want me to stay. Whatâs all this about?â Dustin asked impassively.
âHmph! Spare us your excuses!â Evan said menacingly. âYouâve offended General Murray and ruined everyoneâs mood. And now youâre just going to run away? Thatâs just a pipe dream!â
âThatâs right! You sneaked into the Murray residence with bad intentions. People like you need to be dealt with! Fortunately, General Murray sees through your true colors. Today, youâll not escape justice!â Vivian declared, full of self-righteousness.
While scolding Dustin, she tried to win Christopherâs favor as well. She played her cards skillfully, raising and lowering her sights in this situation.
âHey, whatâs going on here?â Christopher frowned in annoyance at the two of them. He wondered, âWhere did these two fools come from, and why canât they tell right from wrong?â
âGeneral Murray, when dealing with someone like him, thereâs no need for you to personally get involved. Let us handle it. I promise you weâll take care of him thoroughly!â Evan said confidently. He hadnât quite grasped the gravity of the situation while trying to impress Christopher.
âYes, General Murray, today is your birthday, and this isnât the time to get angry. Let us handle this for you,â Vivian added. She was desperate for Christopherâs approval and to be acknowledged by him.
âGuards! Arrest this troublemaker who has committed several crimes. Interrogate him thoroughly!â Evan proudly waved his hand in the direction of Christopherâs guards. He acted as if he owned the place.
âUnbelievable!â Christopher stood up abruptly, his anger flaring as he walked toward them. He slapped Evan and Vivian across the face and scolded them. âHave you both lost your minds? This person is a distinguished guest of the Murray family. Who gave you the courage to disrespect my guest?â
