Chapter 1127 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
The Murray family had a thousand armed forces. It kept order through its formidable presence.
âWhere are my reinforcements? I need backup, now!â Caden shouted, but there was no response from outside.
âThereâs no need to shout. My men have infiltrated the Murray residence. Your soldiers have been defeated,â Gage said with a faint smile.
âThatâs impossible! Youâre lying!â Cadenâs eyes widened in disbelief. He couldnât imagine the defeat of a thousand well-trained soldiers. Gage calmly explained, âIt took five years of preparation to get me here today.â
âSo, you were prepared all along,â Caden said. His face darkened as he looked at his surroundings. He continued, âGage, youâre brave and resourceful, but thereâs one thing you overlooked.â
Gage asked, âWhat did I overlook?â
âMe!â Caden replied. He slowly removed his coat, revealing his muscular physique. He went on, âIâve been training for years, and now Iâm a semi- grandmaster. Your subordinates wonât stand a chance against me.â
âA semi-grandmaster?â
The crowd reacted in surprise. Attaining the rank of a divine master in Dragonmarsh required immense dedication and hard work. Therefore, reaching the level of a semi- grandmaster was a remarkable achievement. It meant having the ability to confront a thousand foes.
Caden warned Gage, âSurrender now or face the consequences.â
With a mighty stomp, Caden created a deep crater. He unleashed a massive shockwave that sent Gageâs subordinates flying.
Those who witnessed Cadenâs power were gripped by fear. They knew that facing a semi-grandmaster was tantamount to a death sentence.
âSheila, your father is incredibly strong. I doubt Gage would pose any problem today,â Vivian remarked. Evan admitted, âI had no idea Uncle Caden was a martial arts master.â He sounded impressed. He knew being a semi-grandmaster meant Caden could establish a sect with significant influence.
âIâm surprised, too,â Sheila said. She had never seen her father fight like this before. Gage clapped and said, âI didnât expect you to reach such a level after all these years. Iâm impressed.â
âNow that you know my strength, why donât you give up?â Caden challenged. Gage remained composed. âYour martial arts talent is decent, but youâre not on my level.â
âYouâre so arrogant!â Caden shouted.â Today, Iâm going to prove you wrong!â
Determined, Caden stormed toward Gage. But a mysterious figure in a black robe, whose face was hidden, appeared behind Gage. It flickered up to stand in front of him, striking at Cadenâs palm.
âYou must be looking for trouble!â
Undeterred, Caden countered with a series of punches.
As their fists clashed, the black-robed figure remained resolute, letting his robes billow. In a flash, Caden was sent flying. He slammed into a wall and coughed up blood.
