An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1152
Dustin got up from his seat slowly and turned to face them. When he saw Florence and her group, he was slightly taken aback. What a small world.
âAnother one?â Natasha frowned when she noticed Dahlia. She hadnât even finished dealing with Scarlet, and now Dahlia had joined the scene. It felt like she was being played by some cosmic joke.
âDustin? Itâs you!â Florenceâs expression darkened after she took a good look at the person before her. âWhy are you here? Youâre not tailing us, are you?â
âDonât overthink it. Weâre just here to have a meal,â Dustin replied impassively. âA meal? Hmph! Who knows if youâre telling the truth.â
Florence was doubtful. âYou must have heard about our newfound wealth and planned this coincidental meeting. Iâve encountered plenty of people like you! Youâre trying to find an opportunity to gain favor with us!â
âThatâs right!â Julie chimed in haughtily. âRhys! Iâm warning you to keep your distance! Our social status puts us way out of your league!â
âYour social status doesnât concern me. If thereâs nothing else, please leave. Donât disrupt our meal.â Dustin drove them out.
âPfft! This is Madam Franklinâs room! Youâre the ones occupying it!â Sue shouted cowardly. âDid you hear that? We reserved this room! You should be leaving instead!â Florenceâs expression was one of arrogance.
âIâm ordering you to get out of my sight right now!â she shouted. âGet out right now!â Julie glared at them.
âFirst of all, I reserved this room first. Weâre not occupying it by force. Also, who the hell do you think you are to order me around?â Dustin asked coldly. Since they had broken all ties, there was no need to show them respect.
âYou impudent bastard!â Florence glared at Dustin and yelled, Rhys! How dare you talk to me that way? Do you know I can have all of you thrown into prison with a single command?â
With the backing of the Mosey family, they could act however they liked. No one would dare stand in their way.
âReally? I donât believe you.â Dustin shook his head. âYou-â Florence was about to launch into a tirade when Dahlia raised her hand to stop her.
She looked at Dustin and calmly said, Dustin, I need to meet an important guest here today. I hope you will let us have the room. As compensation, Iâll cover the expenses of your meal.â
Before Dustin could respond, Natasha stood up. With a smile, she interjected, âMs. Nicholson is indeed generous. Unfortunately, we donât need your compensation. Please, leave.â
âHmm?â Dahlia frowned and locked her gaze on Natasha. She retorted icily, âMs. Harmon, was it? Please get this straight; youâre the ones intruding into our reserved room. Iâve already politely asked you to leave. Please donât push your luck.â
Natasha covered her mouth and chuckled lightly âIs Me Nicholson threatening me?â
Then her expression suddenly turned cold, âAnd if I choose not to comply?â
Dahliaâs expression grew even colder as she stared silently at Natasha. Natasha, unwilling to show any weakness, matched her gaze.
The intensity of their confrontation sent shivers down the spines of those present. In an instant, the atmosphere became tense.
