Chapter 116 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âDonât get ahead of yourself yet, you bastard!â Mr. Wangley shouted in anger.
âYou have to remember that Mr. Harmon isnât the only one whoâs poisoned here. Without my antidote, you wonât be able to live past tomorrow with my poison in your system!â
âIs that so? Wanna bet on who kicks the bucket first?â Dustin chuckled.
âWhy you-!â Mr. Wangley had been rendered speechless.
Looking at the current state of affairs, it was obvious that Quentin was the one who would lose first.
And it was exactly for this reason that Mr. Wangley proposed to call it a draw.
Unfortunately, the other party was having none of it.
âHurry up and give me the antidote already, Dustin! Weâll count this as a loss on our side!â Quentin yielded grudgingly.
If it werenât for the fact that he really couldnât bear the pain anymore, he would never concede to a puny ant like him.
âYou canât just âsayâ that youâve lost. Whereâs the sincerity in that, Mr. Harmon?â Dustin teased while shaking
his head.
âDonât you test me, Rhys!â Quentin roared.
âWhen you make mistakes, itâs only logical that you admit your wrongdoings, no? Are you telling me that you canât even do that much?â Dustin urged on, devoid of the slightest bit of fear.
âOh, so you want me to get down on my knees and admit my mistakes to you? What makes you think youâre fucking worthy of that?â Quentin sneered as his expression turned cold.
âOf course, Iâm not worthy. I guess youâll just have to get rid of the poison by yourselves then,â Dustin replied with a shrug.
âAre you threatening me right now?â Quentin scowled.
âGoodness, no. Iâm just returning the favor,â Dustin replied, unperturbed.
âEnough, everyone stops this farce at once!â Jessica suddenly screamed.
âYouâd better hurry and pass the antidote to Quentin right now, Dustin. Otherwise, you wonât be able to take
responsibility if anything happens to him after this!â
âWith all due respect, maâam, every man considers his promises like gold. So since I made a promise just now, naturally I would need to fulfill that promise,â Dustin replied plainly.
âWhat are you on about? And why do you insist on making yourself an enemy of the Harmons today?â Jessica snapped, her pretty face now stone cold.
She initially thought that Dustin would back down and be the bigger man in this situation, but didnât expect him to be so insensitive instead.

Chapter 116
âCan you cut the act already? You didnât say anything when Quentin was bullying Dustin before, so why are you jumping to Quentinâs aid when heâs in a difficult situation now? Do you even have a shred of dignity left?â Natasha suddenly voiced out.
âWhy are you speaking for an outsider when Quentin is your own cousin?â Jessica frowned.
âI only speak for the truth, not blood relations!â Natasha proclaimed, righteously.
âQuentin was the one who started this whole thing in the first place, so now heâs getting what he deserves. Since weâre outsiders in their competition, we should just sit and watch and not interfere!â
âWhy you-!â Jessica growled, obviously angry at her daughterâs outburst.
Although she let Natasha have her way outside, she really could not do anything about her in private.
All of her nagging and lectures failed to get to her.
She was such a thorn in her side!
âThis is the last time Iâm going to ask, Rhys! Are you giving me the antidote or not?â Quentin demanded while gritting his teeth.
âAnd Iâll reply with the same answer. Kneel down and apologize first,â Dustin stated flatly.
âFine! Fine!â Quentin finally gave in with a sinister look on his face.
âI can kneel down, for sure, but are you sure you want to take responsibility for the consequences that ensue?â Quentin growled, his expression was murderous now.
âIâll need to see it for myself first.â Dustin smiled mockingly.
âFine! I hope you donât regret this!â Quentin shouted through clenched teeth. After hesitating for two seconds,
he finally dropped down to the floor on his knees with a heavy âthudâ.
But as he knelt, his death glare was firmly planted on Dustin, and his expression extremely fierce.
Humiliating him in public like this was equal to asking for death!
âThe man has already knelt before you. Are you satisfied now, Dustin? Hurry up and hand him the antidote
then!â Jessica snapped.
Humiliating Quentin Harmon was equal to humiliating the entirety of the Harmon family.
How dare a measly doctor humiliated a Harmon like that. He was really asking to be killed!
âHere. Bottoms up.â Dustin said as he fished out a small, white vial and poured out the powdery contents into
a cup of tea.
âIs that Hexanavir? Mr. Wangley thought to himself.
