Chapter 1427 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
As the clock struck midnight, Dustin bid Natasha farewell and returned to his villa in South City. Their parting carried a tinge of sorrow. Even so, it was necessary to avoid drawing attention.
Dustin was going on a dangerous journey. He was determined to keep Natasha out of harmâs way. From now on, they would meet in secret, or they would minimize their encounters.
Natasha was Simonâs granddaughter. That title made her shine too brightly. Thus, spending too much time with her risked exposing Dustinâs true identity.
The night faded away like mist in the morning sun. The following day, Dustin headed to the Regal Court to meet Lana. They sat in a private chamber, having tea and discussing their plans.
âHandsome,â Lana began. âThe Camron family fully supports our
partnership. Weâre committed to investing all our resources in developing and promoting Dew Balm.â
She skillfully made tea and filled two cups. The room was then engulfed in its delightful aroma.
âA wise decision,â Dustin nodded with a knowing smile. It was no surprise that any ambitious family would embrace such an opportunity.
âIn addition, Iâve carefully organized the establishment of the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, the procurement of medicinal herbs, and the recruitment of pharmacists.
Today marks the official start of our production. Even so, we face two significant challenges,â Lana explained.
âWhat are these challenges?â Dustin asked.
âFirstly, the formula youâve provided is extremely challenging for regular pharmacists. It has a low success rate, making it difficult to maintain quality, âLana elaborated.
âThis problem is solvable. We can select talented and trustworthy pharmacists, and I will personally train them. In just three days, theyâll be self- sufficient,â Dustin assured with a warm smile.
âThat sounds like a perfect solution,â Lana agreed. âBut now, we need to address the second challenge.â
She continued, âThe Swanson family dominates the medical industry in South City. They have a strong reputation, extensive networks, significant influence, and a long legacy. Plus, they had recently allied with the Welch family. That has made them even more powerful.â
âEven if Dew Balm outperforms other products and is more affordable, it wonât matter. The Swanson family has a tight grip on the market. Their connections are also unbeatable,â Lana emphasized.
Business success relies not only on quality but also on personal connections. The Swanson familyâs dominance in the medical sector and alliance with the Welch family create a formidable barrier.
They needed to find an alternative approach.
âSo, whatâs your suggestion?â Dustin asked.
âI propose focusing our initial efforts on the other three major districts. By forming alliances with other influential families, we can share the burden. This way, weâll have more allies to reduce the pressure and expedite our growth,â Lana explained.
She understood that Dew Balmâs potential was too massive for the Camron family to handle alone. Sharing it with other families was a smart move.
âAn excellent idea that aligns with my thoughts. Weâll start in other districts. Weâll partner with strong allies and establish a foothold in the market. Then, we can take on the Swanson and Welch families,â Dustin agreed.
âHehe⦠It seems we think alike,â Lana chuckled, giving a mischievous wink. âHave you identified suitable candidates for this endeavor?â Dustin asked, pretending not to notice.
âAmong the Eight Great Families, the Dawson family in the Eastern District surpasses the Swanson family in medicine. Theyâre also relatively trustworthy,â Lana revealed.
âDawson family? One of the Top Four?â Dustin raised an intrigued eyebrow.
âYes,â Lana confirmed.
