Chapter 1444 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âWhat an ignorant young man.â Dante shook his head.
âYou should remember weâre not in Southern province but in Oakvale. Itâs a place teeming with brilliant and gifted individuals. Your meager skills wonât cause a ripple here.â
âSir Dante, if youâre itching for a fight, letâs not waste more time. I have a lot on my schedule,â Dustin yawned as he spoke, looking sleepy. He had been busy with a multitude of tasks lately.
He had been occupied with the reconstruction of Harmony Healers, staff training for Dew Balm production, and keeping his eyes peeled for information on the Emerald Corolla and Iceheart Lotus.
His relentless back-and-forth travels had nearly exhausted him. If it werenât because the Fallons could be useful to him, he wouldnât have been bothered with them.
âYou insolent brat!â Dustinâs nonchalant behavior angered the Fallons. Theyâve seen plenty of audacious individuals, but nothing like Dustinâs type, who didnât take them seriously at all. He was asking for death!
âRhys! Donât be too arrogant. Once Declan gets here, youâll be crying on the floor!â Dexter said darkly.
âWhat? Heâs not here yet?â Dustin frowned slightly. âWhy did you even call for me? Talk over tea? Do you know time is money? Iâm a busy man!â
The crowd erupted in a frenzy with his words.
âGoddamn it! This brat is too much! He doesnât respect us at all!â
âHeâs too much! Heâs absolutely crazy!â
âFuck! If it werenât because I hurt my leg yesterday, I would have killed him already!â
The Fallon disciples were angry and indignant, and even Dante frowned. Was this young man intentionally provoking them, or was he really that arrogant?
âUncle Dante, I canât stand by and listen to his nonsense! Iâm going to rip him apart!â Right then, a burly man suddenly stood up.
He looked like he was made of pure muscle and had a scary-looking face. He was much bigger than Dexter and seemed no different than a mountain. This man was Samson Fallon.
Though he was not directly related to the Fallons, he was chosen as a core disciple and received special training due to his outstanding martial talent.
âFatty, are you sure? What if you lose and embarrass the Fallons?â Dustin suddenly blurted out.
âUncle Dante, this guy keeps insulting us! How could we show our faces if we let him go?â Samson was furious.
âAlright! You can take the lead and knock out all his teeth first!â Dante couldnât take it any longer, either.
âNo problem!â Samson grinned widely. He slammed the table so hard that it broke into pieces before taking big strides toward Dustin. His expression was menacing like he wanted to devour Dustin.
âUncle Dante, Dustin is pretty skilled. Is Samson confident of taking him on?â Dexter asked.
âDonât worry. Even though Samson isnât as skilled as Declan, he is still the strongest among all of you. Heâs also extremely gifted, so taking Dustin down shouldnât be a problem,â Dante said confidently.
âThatâs right! Samsonâs skills are unparalleled. Ordinary divine-level martial artists are no match for him. That bastard is in for a thrashing!â
âI heard Samson can rip a bull with his bare hands. Iâm itching to see this kid torn to shreds!â
The Fallons were excited and filled with anticipation. Samson was gifted and highly skilled. He easily ranked among the top three Fallon disciples. Taking on a scrawny guy like Dustin would be a piece of cake.
âLook! Samson is making a move!â
Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Samson charged forward like a tank as he roared. His arms reassembled giant iron hammers as they swung, aiming at Dustinâs head. If he landed this solid blow, even elephants would drop dead!
Just when everyone believed Dustin was doomed, a thud was heard. Samson, who had charged forward, was sent flying several meters away as if struck by a train. He crashed heavily into the wall, and blood gushed from his mouth and nose.
He fainted on the spot.
For a moment, there was only silence.
