Chapter 1463 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
The hearse was a sleek, black vehicle. The Camrons frowned at the sight of the hearse pulling up in front of them.
They clearly werenât here to congratulate them on the launch! Instead, they were cursing them! It was a sign of disrespect to have a hearse there!
As the hearse pulled up, two other vans followed suit. The doors opened, and dozens of people who were all dressed in black swarmed out.
At the same time, an intricately designed coffin was carried out and placed at the entrance of the building with a loud thud.
âWhich one of you is the developer of the Dew Balm? Get the hell out here now!â Just then, a middle-aged man who was suited up in all black came forward and yelled angrily.
âWho are you? And why have you brought this here?â Lana stepped forward and asked coldly.
âOf course, Iâm here to get an explanation from you, evil bunch!â
The middle-aged man looked anguished as he said, âThis Dew Balm youâre selling is toxic! My father passed away after using it last night! I demand an explanation!â
As he spoke, he pushed open the lid of the coffin, revealing an old man lying in there. The old man was skinny, and his face was purple. There were even some dark blood stains around his nose and mouth. His chest was not moving, indicating that he was no longer breathing.
âHey, you better not make baseless accusations! The Dew Balm had undergone strict examination, and thereâs no way itâd be wrong!
âYour fatherâs death has got nothing to do with us!â Lana said with her brows tightly knitted. They had barely just burned bridges, and trouble had come knocking. This was clearly a ploy set up by the Welch and Swanson families.
They were trying to ruin the Dew Balmâs reputation by claiming that it was so toxic that someone had died using it. Once news got out, it would greatly affect sales, regardless of whether it was true.
âAre you going to deny it? I have all the evidence here!â
The man reached into the coffin and opened the old manâs shirt, revealing his thin torso. There was a dark wound on his chest. Around the wound, there were traces of a green ointment.
âDo you see that? Thatâs Dew Balm for you!â
He pointed at the green ointment and roared, âMy father only suffered a minor wound! But after he used this Dew Balm of yours, he was intoxicated and died almost instantly!
âYou evil bunch are just here to make money without caring for the consumers! Youâre nothing but beasts!â
âWhat proof do you have to show that the Dew Balm killed him?â Lana asked.
âThis is the receipt we got when purchasing the Dew Balm, and this is an autopsy report from the medical examiner. It clearly states that the Dew Balm killed my father!â
As he said that, he pulled out all sorts of documents to prove his point, obviously prepared.
âThese can all be forged! They canât be considered evidence!â Lana threw the documents to the ground after looking at them.
âOh, I see you evil bunch arenât going to admit that this is your doing, huh? Iâll report you to the authorities! Iâll see to it that you rot in prison!â he roared.
âLook here, everyone! This evil bunch is just out to get rich, and they have no care for consumerâs lives! They are utterly wicked!
âQuick! Film them! Let everyone see how despicable they are!
âHow will you pay for my fatherâs life? Give my father back!â
