Chapter 1496 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Joanne nodded and said, âEleanor, you go ahead and handle it. Iâll need to meet with Ms. Forrest for a chat.â
âAlright,â Eleanor replied. âWait a moment ⦠What about Dustin? Do we still need to address the situation with him?â Alistair suddenly asked.
âAbsolutely,â Eleanor replied, looking frustrated, âHe exploited the situation, created discord, and caused our falling out with the Swanson family. He must face the consequences!â
âTo avoid arousing suspicion, we shouldnât deal with this personally. Letâs hire someone to take care of it.â Joanne suggested.
âDonât worry, I know how to handle these arrogant men,â Eleanor said, her eyes narrowed. âI have my ways!â
Meanwhile, outside Camron Medicals, a car came to a slow stop. Then Dustin and Abigail got out one after the other.
âIs this your new business, Sir? It looks quite bustling!â Abigail said, observing the scene with an innocent expression.
After the commotion from yesterday, Camron Medicals continued to flourish. Various big shots had gathered there, placing significant orders for Dew Balm.
The reason was simple: the product was affordable, and its healing properties were remarkable. With positive reviews pouring in, business was booming. âSo, this is a venture I started with a couple of friends, and it seems to be doing well,â Dustin said with a smile.
âI heard about Dew Balm as soon as I arrived in Oakvale. I didnât expect it to be your creation,â Abigail said, smiling.
âOur Mystic Arts Order frequently embarks on missions and sustains injuries, so we need this kind of ointment. Can you give me a discount since youâre the boss?â
âKid, youâre here for business, and now you want to squeeze me dry? Seriously? âDustin said, pretending to be offended.
âHehe, well, you are my mentor after all,â Abigail said, playfully poking Dustinâs arm. âCanât you give me a discount, please?â
âAlright, you drive a hard bargain. Iâll give it to you at the cost price. I wonât make any profit from you. Does that sound fair?â Dustin said, resigned.
âThatâs fantastic! Thank you, Sir!â Abigail smiled sweetly.
âThe Grand Sorceress of the Mystic Arts Order is a penny-pincher, huh? If this gets out, wonât people make fun of you?â Dustin shook his head.
âWhatâs wrong with being frugal? The Mystic Arts Order is huge, and there are many expenses. If we can save money, why not?â Abigail laughed.
Her words were true; the Mystic Arts Order lived modestly and was not wealthy. With considerable expenses, they were struggling to make ends meet. The disciples often had to take on extra work to support themselves.
âMake way! Clear the path!â
Suddenly, there was a disturbance at the entrance. Dustin turned around and saw a group of imposing bodyguards storming their way in. They forcibly pushed aside anyone in their way, prompting complaints from onlookers.
Upon entering, the bodyguards quickly cleared the path and stood on either side to maintain order. Following them was a woman dressed ostentatiously, exuding an air of luxury. She walked in arrogantly.
âWhat?â Seeing the woman, Dustin raised his eyebrows, surprised.
The woman was Julie, Dahliaâs cousin!
