Chapter 1618 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âYou really wouldnât budge even in the face of death,â Dustin said sarcastically, âDo you think Iâm afraid of Anders Mosey? If I was, why would I kill Scott Mosey?â
Eleanor was dumbfounded and stood rooted to the spot upon hearing that. She had almost forgotten about it. Dustin had the guts to kill even Scott Mosey. Why would he hesitate to kill them? This guy was just really crazy.
âThatâs enough. I donât want to waste my time on any of you. Youâll eventually spill when you go to prison,â Dustin said calmly.
âTake them away.â Adam gestured toward his female assistants. When they received his order, they dragged Eleanor and Elena away and were ready to leave in the car.
âNo! I donât want to go to prison!
Dustin, please let me go! I know that Iâm wrong now! I will serve you, is that alright? I will always obey you and do whatever you ask me to. Please!â Elena was really afraid. She was howling and begging with tears streaming down her face.
Now, the Forrest family was in deep waters, and they couldnât save her. If she went to prison, sheâd be tortured alive.
When she saw that Dustin remained unmoved, Elena turned toward Eleanor and yelled, âEleanor Welch! What are you doing? Apologize quickly! I donât want to die with you!â
Eleanor finally came to her senses after Elena shouted at her. They were already at the losing end, and they had lost everything.
She could never defeat Dustin, who had the support of the Spanner family. Even though she was very unhappy, she had no choice but to surrender.
âIâll tell. Iâll tell you everything! Dustin Rhys, as long as you let us go, Iâll tell you everything you want to know!â
Eleanor fessed up. She looked very depressed, like a shriveled leaf.
âYou have no right to negotiate with me. Why donât you tell me everything about your secret plan? Iâll consider your proposal if I think the information is worth it,â Dustin said calmly.
âFine, Iâll tell you.â Eleanor nodded and was just about to speak. Suddenly, there was a flash of fire in the far depths of the darkness.
Soon afterward, there was a loud bang. A golden bullet lit up the night sky and shot through Eleanorâs forehead. The bullet entered between the eyebrow and left through the back of her head. Blood and brain splattered across the ground.
âUhâ¦â Eleanor trembled as her eyes widened in disbelief. In the next moment, she fell backward and was dead.
âWhat?â The sudden turn of events shocked Elena, who was beside Eleanor. She never expected that Eleanor, who was from a great family, would die this way. Who did it? Why would they assassinate Eleanor Welch?
âHide quickly!â Adam frowned and ordered his assistants to shield themselves. The gunman must be highly skilled to hit his target in the darkness of the night from a few thousand yards away.
Adam couldnât care less about the death of Eleanor Welch. He was more worried about the lives of his trusted assistants.
At this moment, another bang could be heard from afar. A second golden bullet appeared after the bright flash and killed Elena, who was still in shock!
She died the same way as Eleanor did. The bullet pierced through her forehead, between her eyebrows, and caused irreparable brain damage. There was no way she could be saved.
