Chapter 1620 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âOf course!â Dustin looked determined. âI already have some clues to help me uncover the truth about the incident. I canât leave no matter what.â
âRight! Since youâve already made up your mind, Iâll give you my unconditional support. Just let me know if you need any help!â Adam said as he patted his chest.
âOf course. Iâll definitely need your help.â Dustin smiled lightly and added, âIâll rely heavily on you for any tedious and difficult task.â
âWhat are you talking about? Am I only worthy of tedious and difficult tasks?â
Adam sounded disappointed.
âYouâre the most capable man I know. Youâre the God of Military! Is there anything you canât do?â Dustin showered Adam with some flattery.
âThatâs true.â Adam was beginning to sound a little pompous as he added, â You might be a prince, but Iâm still better than you in some other things.â
âYouâre absolutely right.â Dustin nodded quickly and said casually, â Weâll continue with this topic another time. For now, can you please deal with the dead bodies? I have to go now.â
With that, he patted Adamâs shoulder and turned to leave.
âDid you see that? The honorable prince of the Rhys family just asked me for a favor. Am I not the best?â Adam raised his head slightly and turned to look at his female assistants with a smug and proud expression.
âYes⦠Yes, you are.â Both of the female assistants looked at each other and forced a smile.
They couldnât help but think to themselves, was Mr. Spanner alright? Was he under the influence of some intoxicating substance?
It was obvious that he was doing someone elseâs chore, so why was he so proud of it? Was he still the almighty and aloof God of Military that they knew? It was a little hard to decide now.
Dustin remained unaffected by the deaths of Eleanor Welch and Elena Forrest. He immediately returned to the mansion after he bade Adam goodbye, worried that Anders would harm the people close to him.
âDustin, youâre back.â When Dustin got out of the car in front of the mansion, he saw Maximus walking toward him. He looked like he had something to say to him.
âWhat happened?â Dustin asked without waiting for Maximus to speak.
âDustin, thereâs a mysterious guest at home. Sheâs been waiting for a long time to see you,â Maximus replied.
âMysterious guest? Whoâs that?â Dustin was curious.
âNo idea.â Maximus shook his head. â The person is completely covered with a robe. I donât know what she looks like, but I know for sure itâs a woman.â
âCome on, letâs go in to have a look.â Dustin didnât say much else. After he greeted Maximus, he walked right into the mansion.
At this moment, a veiled woman dressed in white was sitting quietly on the couch in the living room. She didnât speak, nor did she move. It was as if she was a statue. The glass of water and the plate of snacks on the table remained untouched.
âWho are you? How can I help you?â Dustin asked frankly, sitting across from the woman in white.
âMy name is Grace Linsor. I came from the palace with a letter for you, Mr. Rhys.â A sweet and clear voice rang out slowly from behind the veil. There was a faint but clear trace of flowery fragrance in the air. N
âGrace Linsor?â Dustin cocked an eyebrow and finally understood what was happening.
The woman before him ranked first in the Beauty Ranking. She was the most beautiful woman in Dragonmarsh!
