Chapter 1668 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
When Dustin and Abigail turned around to look, they realized Nestor and the others were still struggling in the white mist. The latter couldnât even tell where they were.
âBe careful!â At this moment, Dustinâs expression suddenly changed. Then, he shielded Abigail. The true energy in his body oozed out, forming a Black Tortoise Shield.
In the next second, a black arrow shot across the sky. With lightning speed, it pierced through the body of the giant eagle. However, it didnât stop until it collided with the Black Tortoise Shield.
A deafening sound resounded in the air. The Black Tortoise Shield exploded on the spot. The massive impact caused Dustin and Abigail to be blown away.
Meanwhile, the eagle that had gotten shot in the chest didnât even manage to cry. It died on the spot and fell from the sky.
âBlackie!â Abigail cried out.
The black eagle was not only the transportation of the Mystic Arts Orderâs Grand Sorceress but also a heirloom left behind by Abigailâs mother.
Abigail loved it very much, even becoming friends with the eagle. She didnât expect that it would die today.
The sound of something cutting through the air was heard. The second black arrow was shot out of the woods and headed straight toward the duo.
This shot was even faster and fiercer, with an indestructible force. Wherever the arrow passed by, the air would become distorted.
âCelestial Blade!â Dustin pointed his finger forward. Instantly, Celestial Blade unsheathed and transformed into a black light. Then, it collided heavily with the arrow.
Another loud bang sounded.
Dustinâs Celestial Blade was blown several feet backward as the black arrow exploded and spun in the air.
âHow powerful!â Dustinâs expression turned serious. His Celestial Blade was known to be indestructible and could break anything it met.
However, Celestial Blade had almost lost control and was blown away by a single arrow. It seemed that the person who shot the arrow was extremely powerful!
âWhoâs the one secretly shooting the arrows? Show yourself!â Dustin shouted toward the woods. The sound of laughter could be heard. A well-dressed, middle-aged, skinny man suddenly jumped up. Then, he landed steadily on a treeâs leaf.
His body was as light as a feather, swaying with the wind.
There was no trace of human energy leaking from his whole body. It was as if he had merged with the earth, making it impossible to discern if he was real or just an illusion.
âYouâre the one who killed Blackie just now?â Abigail asked through gritted teeth. Her face was filled with fury.
âItâs just a low-life. Whatâs dead is dead,â the well-dressed middle-aged man replied indifferently.
âHow dare you kill Blackie! I want your life!â
Abigail roared in anger and was about to avenge Blackie. However, Dustin reached out and stopped her, âDonât act impulsively! This person is no ordinary foe!â
âHahaha⦠Your Grace, we finally meet again after ten years,â the well-dressed middle-aged man said with a smile.
âWho are you?â Dustin questioned lowly.
âCesar, Cesar Fent.â The well-dressed middle-aged man cupped his hands.
âYouâre Cesar Fent?â Dustin widened his eyes. His expression became more solemn.
Cesar was a mighty Ultimate Grandmaster and also the Head of Martial Arts Union.
Plus, he was ranked number eight on the Astonishing World List!
