Chapter 1809 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âSince you donât want to inherit the throne, why do you want to fight for it? âLincon remained indifferent.
âAlthough Iâm not capable enough to become the ruler of Lucozia, someone is. That person is even more suitable than Julius!â Austin said with determination.
âOh? Who is it?â Lincon raised an eyebrow.
âItâs my eldest brother, Logan!â Austin replied.
âLogan?â Lincon narrowed his eyes and nodded. âYouâre right. Heâs more than suitable to become the ruler of Lucozia.
âHowever, the problem is that he has been missing for the past ten years. There has been no news about whether he was alive or not. How can he inherit the throne?â
âLogan is still alive. Plus, he has already returned to West Lucozia. The throne should definitely be his!â Austin said seriously.
âTalk is cheap. Do you have evidence?â Lincon asked.
If Logan really returned to West Lucozia, everyone would have known about it. In Linconâs eyes, Austin was trying to find an excuse to get him on his side.
âI can provide you with evidence. However, let me ask you something. If Logan inherits the throne, will you fully support him?â Austin shot back.
âWellâ¦â Lincon furrowed his brow in hesitation.
Seeing Austin so confident, Lincon became somewhat uncertain.
âWest Lucozia needs a good ruler. Nobody is more suitable to inherit the throne than my eldest brother. Iâm sure you understand this,â Austin said.
âOkay! If I can see His Highness with my own eyes, I promise to support you all. Otherwise, please find another person to support you!â Lincon said seriously.
âNo problem! Itâs a deal then!â Austin smiled after hearing that.
Then, he turned and looked at Dustin. â Logan, it has come to the point where you have to reveal yourself.â
Dustin nodded. Without a word, he removed his prosthetic mask and revealed his face.
âYouâreâ¦â Lincon instantly widened his eyes. He found it hard to believe.
âUncle Lincon, long time no see.â Dustin smiled faintly.
âYour ⦠Your Highness?â Lincon was shocked, unable to react. He never thought that Dustin would disguise himself as a bodyguard and hide by Austinâs side.
Nobody would have figured it out if Dustin didnât expose his identity.
âUncle Lincon, what do you think? What a surprise, right?â Austin smiled. He added, âYouâre the second person besides me to know about his identity. We are now being open and honest with you, not hiding anything.â
âYour Highness, youâre ⦠still alive?â Linconâs voice was shaking. He got a bit emotional as tears welled up in his eyes.
As Austin might as well be a stranger to Lincon, he didnât plan on supporting him at all. However, Lincon felt a sense of familiarity with Dustin.
The reason was simple. Back then, Dustinâs mother, Alba, had shown him kindness and even saved his life.
Lincon always wanted to repay her kindness. However, he never got the chance. He always felt regretful, especially after Alba passed away.
When Dustin stood right in front of him, Lincon felt like he was seeing the late Alba.
