Chapter 1860 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
After Julius finished saying that, Dustin finally spoke. âUncle Julius, we already know about your experience. You only did this as others misled you.
âHowever, I only want to know where Reagan is. Plus, where did you hide Dragon Guardâs remnants?â
Despite saying so much, Julius did not talk about the main point at all.
âHonestly, I donât know about Reaganâs whereabouts despite having partnered with him.â Julius shook his head.
âYou donât know?â Dustin furrowed his eyebrows.
This meant that Dustin had basically wasted all his efforts. âDonât get anxious. Although I donât know where Reagan is, I can contact him.â Julius changed the topic.
âI agreed to meet him somewhere after succeeding. Weâll go there to discuss matters.â
âReally? Where did you guys plan to meet?â Dustin furrowed his eyebrows.
âAre you sure you want me to answer now?â Julius scanned his surroundings meaningfully.
âCome and help Uncle Julius inside!â A few guards immediately appeared with Dustinâs shout. Then, they helped the heavily injured Julius inside the castle.
âAlbert, go and handle the people outside. Remember not to kill anyone.â Dustin also entered the castle after ordering him.
âBy the decree of His Highness, listen up, all soldiers of the Black Dragon Army! Return to your base immediately and guard the fortress!â Albert spoke.
âYes, sir!â The Black Dragon Army replied in unison. None of them hesitated at this moment. They immediately gathered and returned back to their post.
They only came with Julius because of the Marshalâs military insignia. They would naturally listen to his orders now that Dustin was still alive.
âStop right there!â
At this moment, Albert fixed his gaze on Elijah, who was about to escape. â Elijah, who said that you could leave?â
âDidnât His Highness say that he wouldnât blame us for what we did in the past?â Elijah swallowed hard.
âAlthough His Highness spared your lives, it doesnât mean you can leave just like that,â Albert replied indifferently.
âThe crime of rebellion is enough to warrant the extermination of nine generations. Although His Highness is unwilling to cause more blood to shed, you still need to pay for your crime!â
âWhat ⦠What are you trying to say? Iâm only following orders. I didnât do anything. Blame Julius! Heâs the one who ordered me to do this!â Elijah tried to get out of it.
âHis Highness would naturally decide how to punish Grand General Rhys. As for you all, weâll talk after you spend a few days in the dungeon.â
Albert waved his hands. âArrest all these rebels and interrogate them thoroughly. Letâs see if there are any more accomplices!â
âYes, sir!â A team from the Black Dragon Army rushed forward and surrounded Elijah and the others.
Elijah and his team were all trusted commanders of Julius and were very loyal to him. If this incident wasnât handled properly, Albert knew it could potentially stir up more trouble.
âAlbert, donât abuse your authority! His Highness said not to hurt us!â Elijah exclaimed sternly.
âThatâs right! Weâre willing to surrender, and His Highness agreed not to pursue it any further. Donât go so far!â Everett, Shane, and the othersâ expressions changed. They looked like they had seen a ghost.
Everyone in West Lucozia knew about Albertâs ruthlessness.
Although Albert no longer fought on the battlefield, he was now in charge of the criminal justice system in West Lucozia. He specialized in interrogating serious criminals.
Albertâs methods were ruthless and merciless. Thus, everyone was fearful of him.
Those who fell into Albertâs hands were practically doomed. Even death became a luxury to them. The criminals would find themselves in a situation where they were unable to die even if they wanted to.
Thus, everyone became anxious when they heard Albert was sending them to jail.
