Chapter 1870 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
At that moment, a Dragon Guardâs spy suddenly walked over.
âWhatâs the matter?â Reagan asked indifferently.
âSir Judd, we found two spies that should be from West Lucozia outside. May I know how we should take care of them?â the Dragon Guard spy asked.
âSpy?â Reagan raised an eyebrow. After shooting a meaningful look at Julius, Reagan replied, âBring them over. I want to question them!â
âYes, sir!â The Dragon Guard spy nodded before gesturing to those standing outside.
Soon, two tied-up men in black clothes were brought over.
Just as the adhesive tapes were ripped off from their mouths, one of them started to yell, âYou traitor! How dare you betray us! I hope that youâll die miserably!â
âSlap him,â Reagan spoke calmly.
âYes, sir!â The dragon guard spy walked over and slapped the man in black on both cheeks.
The blows caused blood to spill from the manâs mouth and nose. He was left dizzy and missing several teeth before the beating ceased.
âIâll ask, and you guys answer. If you dare to hide anything, youâre doomed.â
Looking down at them, Reagan continued, âAre you guys from West Lucozia?â
The battered-up man in black spat blood onto Reagan. Then, he screamed, âKill me if you can! Donât even think that you can get anything out of me. Dream on!â
âOkay. Iâll spare you the trouble.â Without another word, Reagan smashed the head of the man in black into a pulp.
Even Julius couldnât help but feel shocked by such a ruthless move.
âItâs your turn. Are you going to talk?â Reagan turned to look at the other man in black.
âI donât know anything. Iâm just someone picking herbs on the mountain. I was just passing by when I got caught,â the other man in black answered.
Reagan replied expressionlessly, â
Youâre still going to lie at this point? I can do you a favor and kill you quickly and painlessly. Otherwise, I have a lot of inhuman methods I can torture you with.â
âSir, I really donât know anything! You got the wrong person!â The man in black was desperate.
Reagan sneered, âSo you want to do it this way? Take him away and torture him until he reveals everything!â
âOf course!â The spy from Dragon Guard answered.
Just as he was about to drag him away, the man in black started to convulse and foam at the mouth. In less than five seconds, he dropped to the floor and died.
Reagan was not surprised. He raised an eyebrow and said indifferently, âIt looks like he poisoned himself to death. Leave his body to the wolves.â
The Dragon Guardâs spy nodded, immediately ordering his subordinates to drag the corpse away. In the meantime, he also cleaned up the mess.
âGrand General Rhys, these two spies seemed to be tailing you. How do you explain this?â Reagan suddenly turned to look at Julius with an unreadable expression.
