Adam stepped forward and kicked Reagan’s lifeless body. Upon confirming Reagan’s demise, Adam smiled. “Hey, Bro, we finally got rid of this trouble. Congratulations!”

“Thanks to your 200 thousand White Tiger Army troops, which effectively blocked Reagan’s escape.

“Without that, this guy might have had a shot at survival.” Dustin conveyed his appreciation for the support.

Ending Reagan’s life had been daunting, and Dustin staked his own life. Still, Dustin was fortunate that he ultimately succeeded.

“I didn’t contribute significantly. If you feel grateful, express your thanks to Her Royal Highness,” Adam remarked, casting a suggestive smile over his shoulder.

He added, “She was visibly anxious and actively involved on your behalf. It seemed she was pushing us as if participating in a marathon.”

“What are you muttering about, Adam? “Grace approached, giving him a stern look.

“No, nothing at all. Simply commending your wisdom and beauty, “Adam replied with a flattering smile.

“Ugh, flattery won’t get you anywhere! “Grace rolled her eyes.

“Thank you, Your Royal Highness,” Dustin said, bowing in acknowledgment.

“Relax, no need for formality. We committed to supporting you, and we’ll follow through,” Grace said calmly.

She continued, “After all, Reagan was a mutual enemy. Helping you is akin to aiding my own cause, ultimately contributing to the greater good.”

“Your sense of justice, Your Royal Highness, is truly admirable,” Dustin remarked with a smile.

“Enough with the compliments. Although Reagan is dead, there are still matters to attend to, like Cinna…” She changed the topic.

“Cinna?” Dustin raised an eyebrow.” My people should have him surrounded. If the plan unfolds smoothly, we ought to capture him.”

“Cinna could prove valuable concerning our objectives.” Grace hinted. She went on, “With Reagan no longer in the picture and the Dragon Guard destroyed, there are still some affiliated forces.

“If we manage to bring these forces under control, it will be beneficial in the future.”

“So, you’re suggesting using Cinna as a pawn to control the affiliated forces of the Dragon Guard, essentially having him work for me?” Dustin quickly grasped the idea.

“Exactly.” She nodded.

She added, “After the Dragon Guard falls, various forces in Dragonmarsh will be eyeing their territory. Dominant factions and opportunistic entities may resort to aggressive takeovers.

“It’s wiser to safeguard our interests rather than allowing others to capitalize on them.”

“You make a valid point, but I don’t trust Cinna,” Dustin said nonchalantly.

In his view, anyone who had been unfaithful to him remained untrustworthy. Since Cinna betrayed Dustin, their relationship had been marked by inevitable enmity.

Regardless of its reasons, the betrayal completely severed all ties between them.

“You don’t need to place your trust in Cinna. You can just simply manipulate him,” Grace said.

She added, “Cinna is married with a daughter and has been controlled by Reagan.

“With Reagan out of the picture, Cinna’s family is now in your hands. He is now at your disposal, so manipulate him as you see fit.”

Dustin calmly asserted, “His family should be spared from harm. While I may not claim to be a saint, I refuse to engage in such reprehensible actions.

“Otherwise, how would I differ from those individuals in the Dragon Guard?”

“I’m merely putting forth an idea. It’s entirely your decision how you choose to address it,” Grace responded with a subtle smile, opting not to delve deeper into the matter.

She was not only suggesting but also subtly assessed Dustin’s principles. To foster future collaboration, she needed to grasp his underlying core values. “Bro, your men are here.”
