Chapter 1930 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âSo, do you still want me to hand Ryan over?â Dustin walked up to Yonah and looked at him condescendingly. His expression betrayed no emotion.
Coughing up blood, Yonah struggled to get up from the ground. His tone was bitter as he exclaimed, âW-Who are you? How dare you go against the Drakes Dominion Order.â
âYou donât have the right to know.â
Dustin continued calmly, âNow, before I lose my temper, run as far away from me as you can. Otherwise, you wonât be just coughing up blood.â
âYou-!â Yonah gritted his teeth. With difficulty, he held himself back from attacking.
Dustin was clearly stronger. It wouldnât be wise to challenge him right now. After all, it wouldnât be too late to seek revenge after their Elder arrived.
âYou brat! Iâm going to remember this! Just you wait. Iâm going to make you pay a hundredfold for the humiliation I suffered today!â
With that, Yonah left gloomily with the rest of his group.
âWhat are you still standing around for? Do I need to send you off personally?â Dustin shifted his gaze to the disciples of the Frostwing Sect.
âYou punk! Donât get too arrogant! The world is unpredictable. Youâll get into trouble sooner or later!â Bran glared at Dustin before leaving with his fellow disciples.
Wise men avoided unnecessary trouble. Since even Yonah had left, there was no point in staying any longer. With the disciples of the Drakes Dominion Order and the Frostwing Sect gone, the remaining forces also scattered.
Despite their dissatisfaction, they knew it wouldnât be easy to take someone away from Dustin.
Since he had defeated Yonah, no one else would be a match for Dustin. Now, they only had two options: resort to cunning schemes or bring in more formidable experts.
âDustin, I didnât expect you to be this strong. Itâs truly impressive!â Jackson walked up to Dustin with a smile.
Initially driven by enthusiasm, Jacksonâs sentiment had transformed into genuine admiration.
âItâs just a modest skill. Nothing worth boasting about,â Dustin responded with a smile.
âDustin, youâre too humble. With your talent and abilities, joining any sect would earn you great respect,â Jackson commented sincerely.
Once news of Dustin effortlessly defeating Yonah and compelling Bran to retreat spread, various factions would surely seek his allegiance.
âKid, donât get too excited. Even though youâre skilled, nothing good will come out of offending the Drakes Dominion Order. â a middle-aged man in a cloak and a straw hat suddenly said. The man was none other than Aidan Ridge, the Sandscale.
âNice to meet you, Mr. Ridge,â Jackson greeted him immediately.
âWhat can I do for you, Mr. Ridge?â Dustin asked calmly.
âThe Drakes Dominion Order is the top sect in Southwest, boasting formidable experts. Yonah, the one you just defeated, is merely a disciple.
âThe true powerhouses, the Guardian and the Elder, have yet to reveal themselves. With your current skills, you wonât stand a chance once they enter the fray. Your path will only lead to a dead end,â Aidan warned.
âWhat are you really trying to say, Mr. Ridge?â Dustin asked.
âThe Drakes Dominion Order is a force to be reckoned with, and you wonât be able to take them on alone.
Fortunately, youâve crossed paths with me. I happen to possess the means to help you resolve this impending disaster,â Aidan said confidently.
âNothing is free in this world. Whatâs your condition?â Dustin arched an eyebrow.
âYouâre smart!â Aidan smiled faintly.
âI recognize your talent and fearlessness toward authority, and your temperament aligns with my preferences.
âSince I lack a successor, should you agree to become my disciple, not only will I guarantee your safety, but Iâll also pass down all the knowledge Iâve accumulated throughout my life!â
