Chapter 1943 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Aidan felt unhappy after Dustin rejected him so many times. However, Aidan was also a proud individual. Thus, Aidan wouldnât continue to pester him. Aidan was sure Dustin would give in when he was on the brink of death.
âDonât just stand there. You guys should go and help Jackson.â Dustin looked toward the few Emberson Steelâs disciples and reminded them. At this moment, Jackson was engaged in a back-and-forth battle with the frenzied Ryan.
However, Jacksonâs speed and strength were noticeably depleting as he used his energy. On the other hand, Ryan showed no signs of fatigue and continued to fight in full force.
If they continued to fight like that, Jackson would soon lose.
âQuick! We should go and help Jackson! âThe few Emberson Steelâs disciples exchanged glances. After drawing their sword, they rushed forward.
âWait! Use this!â At that moment, Grace tossed a golden rope to one of the disciples. The golden rope was unusually sturdy. It looked special from how it emitted a glow.
After seeing the golden rope, Aidan widened his eyes and exclaimed, âLittle Miss, could this be ⦠the Draken Rope?â
âMr. Ridge, you have a keen eye.â Grace nodded, not denying it. Upon hearing that, the few Emberson Steelâs disciples were stunned. âWhat? Draken Rope?â
Any martial artist with a bit of knowledge would know how precious Draken Rope was.
It was a famously rare item in the martial world.
It was so tough that it was resistant to blades, swords, fire, and water. Even a grandmaster martial artist wouldnât be able to break free from it.
However, Draken Rope was rare to find in the entire martial world.
Plus, those of owned one were from major sects.
They didnât expect that such a normal- looking woman would have such a precious item.
They wondered what was her identity.
âStop staring at it. The most important thing is to save Jackson!â urged Grace.
âOh, right!â The few Emberson Steelâs disciples snapped to their senses. Without hesitating, they immediately approached Ryan and tied him up using Draken Rope.
Although Ryan was extremely strong, he couldnât resist against Draken Rope. After all, the rope could be used against grandmaster martial artists.
After being tied up, Ryan couldnât break free, no matter how much he struggled or roared.
âHang him up!â The disciples of Emberson Steel pulled the rope and suspended Ryan on a tree. This way, the latter would have no leverage to move.
âThat was close!â Jackson let out a sigh of relief.
Jackson could tell that he was running out of energy. If he continued fighting, he might be in danger.
Even after being suspended in mid-air, Ryan didnât stop struggling and yelling. Ryanâs facial veins bulged, his body size increased, and his muscles had reached their utmost limit. Plus, cracks appeared all over his body.
He looked like an overinflated balloon.
âOh no! Heâs about to explode! Get away!â Jacksonâs expression turned grim. Immediately, he pulled his disciples backward.
However, Ryan suddenly exploded just as they retreated halfway.
A terrifying energy wave swept in all directions from the explosion point. Wherever it passed, it caused a hurricane and dust to billow all over.
It was unstoppable, mirroring a natural disaster.
