Chapter 2039 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âYes, miss,â Osley answered. His momentum immediately subsided as he obediently retreated behind Grace.
His back was arched, and he lowered his head timidly. Just like that, he became an inconspicuous servant.
If they hadnât seen it with their eyes, nobody would believe that this quiet old man was a capable ultimate grandmaster.
âThank you, Ms. Linsor! Thank you!â Seeing that there was a chance to live, everyone thanked her happily.
âDonât get too happy. Although Iâm not going to kill you all, I wonât let you all go either. I can spare your lives, but you still have to be punished.
âOsley, go and seal their meridians and tie them up. Let the Martial Arts Union deal with them,â Grace said indifferently.
âWhat? Martial Arts Union?â Everyone was stunned upon hearing that.
Martial Arts Union was Dragonmarshâs official institution. They managed martial artists, major martial alliances, and all of the sects. Thus, all of them had to obey their directives.
Anyone involved in major crimes would be captured and detained by them.
The Martial Arts Union was something that would make every martial artist go pale at the mention.
âMs. Linsor, please spare us! Donât send us to the Martial Arts Union!â
âWeâll never get out once the Martial Arts Union captures us!â Everyone wailed and started to beg Grace.
All kinds of ruthless and vicious martial artists were detained in the Martial Arts Union. Therefore, it could be said they were doomed once they entered. A person may only endure some physical suffering if they only committed something minor.
If someone committed something horrendous, they would suffer from all kinds of torture and lead a life worse than death.
âTie them up!â Osley ignored their begging. He swiftly went forward and sealed off their eight vital meridians. Then, he ordered the envoy team to tie up all of the two major sectâs survivors.
Chester thought of something clever. â Wait for a moment. You wonât benefit from anything if you capture us and send us to the Martial Arts Union.
âHowever, if you spare our lives, weâll be at your beck and call in the future. You can command us as you wish!â
âThatâs right! Weâre willing to obey your every order!â
Everyone else nodded their heads. They didnât have any other choices now. If they wanted to live, they could only submit to Grace.
âOh. Really?â Grace raised her eyebrows and looked toward Dustin. â What do you think about this suggestion?â
âTheir capability is just so-so. However, recruiting them for our use seems like a good idea. We just have to turn a blind eye to their loyalty. Itâs up to you how you want to handle them.â Dustin shrugged, appearing indifferent and uninvolved.
Usually, Martial Arts Union wouldnât be in the picture. He would have already killed all of them.
However, Dustin didnât want to reject Graceâs idea since she brought it up.
âDonât worry about their loyalty. I have a way to control them.â Grace shot a meaningful look at Osley. The latter understood her intentions and took out a vial from his pocket. Then, he fed a poisonous pill to the survivors.
The poison was a royal secret formula specifically designed to control spies and prevent them from betraying.
Those who got poisoned would need to take the cure every month. Otherwise, they would suffer excruciating pain akin to being devoured by insects.
âIâll give you a chance to live. However, I hope you guys can mend your ways and start afresh.â Grace scanned their faces.
âNo problem! Weâll turn over a new leaf and never commit any more heinous acts!â Chester immediately nodded.
The remaining people naturally didnât dare to go against Grace.
âThatâs all.â Grace didnât say anything else. She waved her hands, motioning everyone to leave.
âThank you, Ms. Linsor!â Everyone was relieved. After getting up, they immediately started running.
âWait for a moment. You guys can go, except for her!â Dustin blocked in front of them and ordered indifferently.
While saying that, he slowly pointed toward Sophia.
