Chapter 258 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âMr. Hummer! Something terrible has happened!â Fletcher suddenly rushed in, stumbling in his steps. His disheveled and panicked appearance looked extremely out of place.
âWhatâs with the commotion?â Joshuaâs expression turned cold, and he appeared upset. âSpeak up. Whatâs wrong?â
âDâDustin is out here on a killing spree!â Fletcher reported in a whisper. âOh?â Joshua raised an eyebrow. âHe dares barge in here despite knowing itâs the lionâs den? Is this kiddo really that brave?â
âWhat do we do now, Mr. Hummer?â Fletcher asked anxiously.
âWhat do you mean? Get Darkwrath and Lightwrath to kill him. Donât let him interrupt our party.â Joshua waved him away.
âMr. Hummer heâs already killed them both!â Fletcher was somber.
âHuh?â Joshua frowned. âWhen Darkwrath and Lightwrath join forces, even Judge would need to exert his full strength. Is this kiddo that skilled?â
âIt would have been great if they joined forces, but they were too arrogant and gave him a chance to defeat
them,â Fletcher sounded helpless.
âThose fools! What useless trash!â Joshua was displeased. He was upset to have to expend extra effort on an ant that was supposed to be easily squashed.
In the midst of their conversation, the huge doors to the villa were kicked open with a deafening crash. A tall figure strode in with a murderous look.
âListen up, Hummers. Iâm giving you three minutes. Let her go immediately. Otherwise, nobody is leaving this place alive.â Dustin scanned his surroundings, his voice cold.
The hall exploded in a frenzy when they heard him.
âWho is this punk? How dare he make a scene at the Hummersâ? Doesnât he value his life?â
âIf you donât want to die, scram right now. Otherwise, your end will be near!â
âFuck! Who is this punk? Heâs so wild.â
Everyone present whispered and pointed in righteous indignation.
âEveryone, please calm down. Iâll handle it.â
Joshua walked slowly to the center, a faint smile playing on his lips. âYou must be Dustin. Kneel and apologize to my honored guests tonight, and I might spare your life.â
âWho do you think you are? Youâre not worthy for me to kneel before you,â Dustin responded coldly.
Joshuaâs expression turned dark. âKiddo, do you know who youâre talking to? Do you think you can act recklessly here just because you defeated Darkwrath and Lightwrath? Let me tell you, those two are just like you, mere ants in my eyes.â
âYou have two minutes left.â Dustin was stoneâfaced.
Joshua chuckled, âIâll give it to you. Youâre fearless for someone nearing death.â With a sneer, he ordered. Judge, Iâll leave this person to you. Deal with him cleanly. I donât want blood to stain the floor.â
âNo problem!â
â
Right then, a middleâaged man in a long robe suddenly leaped wn from the second floor. He had a tall stature and wore a mask. He held a relatively short, steel spear in his hand, exuding a chilling air around him.
âDamn! Isnât that Judge, who is ranked third on the Hundred Immortals? I canât believe heâs here!â
âWith Judge here, there is no escape. This punk is dead for sure!â
After the longârobed man appeared, the hall erupted in another frenzy. Judge had a wellâknown reputation to his name, and his sudden appearance was bound to bring forth a torrent of bloodshed.
âDustin! Weâre here to assist you!â At this moment. Isfrid and a few injured shadow guards staggered into the room.
âYou wonât be of any help. Go wait at the side,â Dustin remarked flatly. Isfrid frowned after hearing him. It was the first time in her life being shunned as such.
âEven though weâre not as skilled as you are, we still have our merits. It would be advantageous to have more numbers,â she said with a resolute expression.
âSuit yourselves. Just donât stand in my way.â Dustin couldnât care less. âYouâ She pursed her lips. As an exceptional female fighter, sheâd never experienced such blatant disregard. No matter what, she was determined to showcase her full strength, to prove to the person before her that women were as formidable as men.
Just as the thought crossed her mind, she glanced ahead and noticed Judge standing right in the center. She froze on the spot.
âWhatâs going on? Why is Judge here? Did the Hummers invite bystanders to the fray?â Isfrid was secretly apprehensive and worried at the same time.
With the warrior ranked third among The Hundred Immortals here, they were going to suffer an immeasurable loss. That was because Judgeâs skills far surpassed those of Darkwrath and Lightwrathâthey werenât even on the same plane.
This screamed trouble!
