Chapter 538 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Are you trying to bribe me with just a villa? What do you take me for?â Dustin remained indifferent.
âLooks like itâs time to get serious.â Ms. Larson giggled. âHow about this? Iâll let you into some insider information. The abandoned buildings in Eastville are going to be redeveloped. Your investment will double tenfold if you can get ahold of them. Of course, how many buildings you can buy depends on your wealth. The more you buy, the more youâll earn. With enough capital, youâll easily earn anything between a billion dollars to eight billion. What do you think? Is the offer attractive enough?â
Dustin narrowed his eyes. âMs. Larson, youâre very generous, but I still donât understand why youâd tell me about an opportunity that could rake in billions?â
It was their first time meeting, yet Ms. Larson was being extremely generous, even going as far as to offer him a car, a house, and a chance to hit the jackpot. Although Dustin was quite a good-looking guy, it wasnât enough to charm every woman in the world. Besides, a rich woman like her would have met all sorts of men before him, so he couldnât help but be suspicious of her.
âDidnât I tell you earlier? You caught my eye, and I want to be your sugar mama.â Ms. Larson just continued to smile, her intentions hidden.
âDo you think Iâll believe that?â Dustin responded calmly. âI donât know what tricks youâre up to, but
you better not mess around with me. Iâm not someone who knows how to cherish pretty things.â
âHow interesting.â Ms. Larson laughed, her shoulder shaking. âI didnât expect you to be so on guard, miracle doctor. And here I thought Iâd have a chance in bed with you tonight.â
âWhat?â Dustin frowned. âWho are you?â
âTake a guess.â Ms. Larson reached out to cover half of her face, leaving her twinkling eyes exposed. âCan you tell yet?â
âYou!â Dustinâs eyes widened as realization dawned.
Her attire might have changed, but her eyes hadnât. The voluptuous temptress was none other than the Dark Lordâs disciple, Azalea!
No wonder she seemed so familiar to her. She was that witch!
âFinally,â Azalea Larson smirked. âYou didnât expect us to meet again this way, did you?â
âWere you following me?â Dustin demanded with a frown.
âNope. Iâm just here for a business meeting. Me meeting you here was pure coincidence.â Azalea said with a smile.
âWhat do you want?â Dustin growled.
âTake a guess.â Azalea tilted her head sideways.
âDustinâ¦â Just then, Dahlia finally returned after wrapping up her phone call, her expression grave.
âWhatâs wrong?â Dustin was puzzled.
âSome people beat up my mom, and sheâs in the hospital right now, so I have to rush over there immediately,â Dahlia explained.
âShe was beaten up? What happened?â Dustin was surprised.
âIâm not too sure, either. Iâll know after going to the hospital.â Dahlia focused her attention on Azalea. âMy apologies, Ms. Larson, but this is an emergency. Would you mind if we continued this discussion on another day?â
âNo problem. You guys should deal with that first.â Azalea nodded.
âThank you for your understanding, Ms. Larson.â Dahlia flashed a polite smile and pulled Dustin out of there.
Azaleaâs lip curled as she watched the two of them walk away and mumbled, âWhat a fine prey. I havenât felt so excited in ages. Youâll be mine.â
