Chapter 567 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âWhat?â The crowd was shocked as they took in Dylanâs seriously injured figure laying on the ground. Nobody expected Tyler to defeat a highâranking commander of the Dark Panther Cavalry with just a finger. He was too powerful. The concerning thing was that Dylan had Scarlet backing him. When Tyler injured Dylan in public, it was akin to slapping Scarlet.
The crowd wondered if he was just tyrannically arrogant or fearlessly confident âHow dare you injure one of us! Do you really think we are easy targets?â After recovering from the shock, the Harmons shot up in anger. They could no longer tolerate being bullied to such an extent Tyler Grant! I am a commander of the Dark Panther Cavalry. If you hurt me, Scarlet will never forgive your Dylan struggled to stand up, feeling shock and anger.
Gifted with extraordinary talents and sharp perceptions since he was a child, he had trained into a divineâlevel martial artist at a young age. Armed with the abilities he was proud of, he never expected to turn out that weak against Tyler.
It appears like you havenât figured out where you stand.â Tyler looked at him in contempt. âIâd naturally give deference to Scarlet if she were here. But what are you? Youâre just a worthless piece of trash hiding behind someone elseâs power. How dare you threaten me?
Not to mention, the Dark Panther Cavalry has two hundred thousand troops, and over a hundred of them are high- ranking commanders. With Scarletâs position, she probably doesnât even know who you are. What makes you think you can flaunt your power here?â
Dylanâs expression shifted with his words. He couldnât believe Tyler saw through him. He was indeed a highâranking commander of the Dark Panther Cavalry. However, he wasnât even qualified to meet Scarlet on a typical day.
As part of the Dark Panther Cavalry, he had gotten used to using Scarletâs name to boast. No matter where he went, he could act as he pleased. However, he hadnât anticipated encountering such a difficult person like Tyler today. He couldnât win against him in a fight and failed to intimidate him. For a moment, he was at a loss.
âWhy are you silent? Have I hit the mark? What useless trash.â Tyler shook his head in disdain.
âCâcut the crap! Iâm her trusted aide!â Dylan yelled as he hid his cowardice. He could only continue the act for now.
âTrusted aide?â The corner of Tylerâs lips curved up into a smile. âAlright, Iâll give you a chance. Iâll let the Harmons go if you can get Scarlet to come here.â
âSheâs stationed at the border. How can she just come here at will?â Dylan yelled.
âShe doesnât have to show up, then. Give her a call. If the line connects, Iâll consider it a win.â Tyler settled on a compromise.
âI..â Dylanâs expression froze. With his status, he couldnât even interact with Scarlet, let alone have her personal contact information
âDylan, stop holding back! Just give her a call. Iâd like to see if Tyler would still dare stir up trouble, Jacob said in discontent.
âThatâs right, show him the power of Dragonmarshâs Goddess of War!â The Harmons started clamoring.
They knew asking her to appear would be difficult, but making a call would be easy. After all, Dylan was a highâranking commander. He would definitely be taken seriously.
âFine! Iâll make the call!â Realizing that he couldnât avoid it, Dylan immediately took out his phone and started his act of needing help.
âDonât try to tell me that Scarlet is too busy and canât answer your call,â Tyler interrupted him
coldly.
Dylan turned red as he was caught off guard by his words. He was indeed about to make an excuse to deceive him. After being exposed, he stood there dumbfounded.
âWhatâs the matter? Itâs not connecting?â Tyler grew impatient:
âThe Goddess of War is extremely busy with work, so itâs expected for her to not pick up. Iâll try again later,â Dylan bit the bullet.
âStop acting! Get lost!â
